Mood Music. Last week brought hard times to the members of the PQ Gang Hut. Their green'n'grey hooped favourites had crashed out of the Champions League. The "hysteria" has more to do with Rangers than Cluj. If we were struggling and clearly not fit to contend they would quickly get over this like they did last year. The hysteria is largely down to the fact that they're terrified about the upcoming visit to Ibrox while we're all looking forward to it.

I agree, the euphoria about re-signing Kent seems to be based on him being good looking rather than anything else. Ojo has already scored more goals than Kent did last year. Never worth 7 million, to us anyway..

Scot Gemmill has named Robby McCrorie, Kieran Wright, Ross McCrorie, Stephen Kelly and Glenn Middleton for the two upcoming games against San Marino and Croatia. The Under-21’s will open their campaign against San Marino on Thursday, September 5 at the Simple Digital Arena in Paisley with a 7.30pm kick off before travelling to take on Croatia on Tuesday, September 10.

Probably just me but I think we will be fine at LB. Barisic is still a quality player but needs a run of games and some confidence. Flanagan can be a bit of a bombscare but defensively is usually sound - and Halliday is fine too. I just don't see us losing that many goals this season for some reason. If it is a loan deal for Kent that is fine IMHO. Liverpool don't take loan fees so only cost is his salary.

Fantastic piece sir. Bonner is the worst pundit I have ever had the misfortune of hearing. Only ever covers sellik games, hasn't a clue who plays for the opposition - 'the motherwell number 7', 'the livvy centre back' - and his match analysis is baffling. 'That was Cluj first chance of the match' was a particularly memorable one. it was 1-1 at the time. And to top it off, we pay his wages.

It's been obvious to everyone for months what Kent wants and surely Liverpool aren't going to effectively devalue him by forcing him to play under 23 football for a year. And personally i'm keen to have a player who is so clearly desperate to play for Rangers.
