  2. I read my Wife's knackered today and wondered what you had been doing to miss the first 20 minutes.?

  3. That was one of the finest midfield performances I’ve seen in years from Davis today. I wasn’t too fussed about bringing him back but he has been top class this season. I think a lot of the improvement in Jack this season is down to the influence of Davis in there beside him. Stewart was impressive today as well and a big shout out to the manager for changing our normal formation which I’m sure Dolly has worked on how to play against as they didn’t have a clue what to do when Morelos came deep or went wide.

  4. If only I'd gone for a 5-0 win today in the prediction league .......... oh wait a minute ...... I did ?

  5. While I would have liked him to score against them I still can't complain about a 30 goal a season striker who I would say has a lot more to his game than even just 30 goals a season. That would be in terms of his overall contribution to the team creating space and chances for others while creating mayhem in general. And he has a knack of grabbing one at crucial times his goal against Legia that made the club around £10 million a classic example.

  6. Not that i'm advocating for McInnes but I presume McInnes may have been a different animal if he had the resources available to to Stevie G though he would still have nothing like the pulling power of Stevie G. We have first team players who wouldn't be there if it not for him. Defoe a prime example. You would surely expect McInnes if he had our squad to adopt a different strategy from the current sheep style. But he shit in his own bed and he can lie in it.

  7. That was so easy today. It was 5-0 going on 9. Absolutely dominated them for 89 minutes and taught them a lesson. Barisic's cross for Morelos was perfection. Pace and accuracy and a very good header from Morelos too. That goal got the biggest cheer today. I hope their fans have a shit journey back up the road.

  8. Were absolutely pumping them. As comfortable as we’ve been at Ibrox in the first half all season.

  9. There's appears to be a lot of humbug about this deal, but I applaud the club for trying to get into new markets. All it takes is for one of these countries to take off and we make a lot of money and publicity from it. It costs almost nothing and is worth the risk. I'm surprised we are criticising the board for their ambition in this regard.

  11. I see what you are saying but I dont think he could have done half the job Gerrard done tactically and get as close to Celtic as we are. The player pulling power is one thing - Gerrard has raised the bar on that - but tactically and on the park I dont think mcInnes would have done anything promising as far as getting titles goes.

  12. Jermain Defoe 6 Goals scored 263 minutes played 44 minutes per goal He's averaging a goal a half. Morelos is on 75 minutes per goal.

  13. Wouldn't disagree but wonder who would be given how bad the remainder are even as a collective. The 10 below us combined couldn't have collectively field a team to live with us today.

  16. Yes he did but failed to act properly when both McGregor and Stewart were "attacked" off the ball, yes yellow cards were issued but IMO both should have been red as ball was nowhere near when the kicks were made, that's my gripe with ref.

  17. A superb team performance and any one of 7 or 8 players could have been man of the match. I think Davis is fair enough though as he was top drawer in the second half especially but Stewart and Jack ran him close. Good to see our captain back to his best as well.

  18. He was heavily involved in the vital opening goal and the second before scoring himself. I thought he just shaded it from Stewart overall, although I've only seen the highlights of the first 20 minutes.

  19. If we're being fair here, Morelos squandered enough chances of his own. In fact at times his decision making in front of goal was poor.

  23. I would have expected him to be played cutting in from the right but he hasnt really he's been much tighter to the centre effectively giving us an extra man in their 6 man defence to work off of. We've moved the ball well to either wing, we've played the ball through and past them to the point where their midfield are chasing shadows and the movement up front has been pretty decent.
