I was under the impression the Rangers swifts (reserves) were back in the reserve league next season with the under 20's being abolished and it now jumped from u19's to reserves? Don't think the reserves serve much purpose tbh anyway, they played most of their games at Murray park behind closed doors, even playing at a junior ground like newlandsfield or somewhere in which the youngsters can get experience playing in front of some sort of crowd. It's a massive jump going from playing in front of 30-40 at Murray park to 40-50 thousand at Ibrox.

Does anyone have any info on the sashbashes in or around Sheffield? I presume it will be ticket only, just looking to see where I can buy some from. Any truth in the rumours that they are unofficially allocating more tickets to put us in the north stand?

I am looking to go to Valencia or Bursa on a daytrip or overnight stay and i am no longer in the travel club does neone know if there is any decent travel agents organising the trips, i have 1 from sports options and its �£260 daytrip and i know passport travel used to do the trips but it doesnt seem if they do the rangers ones nemore, any info i receive will be greatly appreciated. cheers

Right does anyone know the right rules about this cl registration scenario because stv are now reporting that he would eligible if rapid get put out by villa? I was under the impression if he played against villa or was named in the squad that was him out of the cl! Could somebody please clear this up? Cheers

If jelavic is named in the squad for Thursday nights game he is then ineligible for the cl group stages I think!

Heard the rumours at the game today that he was down at Birmingham last nite discussing terms, I can't see it myself not unless it was funny money! Walter said that he was struck down with a virus! I think Davis is one player that it would take a seriously big offer to take him away, if mcgeady went for �£10 mil Davis should sell for �£20 mil cause he is in a different league from mcgeady!!!!!

Agreed, I thought he tried but u could tell his fitness wasn't there but that will come think he only played two games 45 minutes in each fir Stoke reserves in pre-season so will take him a few weeks to get upto scratch. I thought he played very deep aswell in some parts of the game today as if he was the one playing off miller, did nebody else notice that?

I think he will be a good signing for us, he has showed in previous seasons he knows where the back of the net is and maybe this is just the new lease of life he needs. I'm actually quite excited by the signing maybe thats just because we've not seen it in 2 years! Just wait till he scores againsts the micks he will be an instant hero! :robbo:

Frankie I would rather walter took his time to find the new signings instead of jumping in like the *******s and making a flurry of rash signings, although I agree that it would have been better to get them in earlier to gel with the team, I have complete faith in walter smith and whoever he brings in. I say be patient because we will bring in a few players!

Scottish sun reporting us at 1.5mil full back page and Clyde 1 reporting it aswell but did not mention any fee! Hope it is qpr! -
Reports this morning are saying tommy smith will be our first signing of the season, the saying we have reached a fee with Portsmouth believed to be in the region of 1.5 mil! Not overly excited about the arrival of him, I think we could get a younger and better player for that money!
