me too. he looks like a right smug prick..... and a jobbystabber as well
  3. gavin rae is well worth keeping. he will do a job for us, i have no doubt about that.
  4. leguen made the right tactical changes and the team dug in deep. Showed the grit required and as usual king dado led by example. its still early days but if we show this type of form we will be up there fighting for the prizes at the end of the season.
  5. st etienne (the town) used to be a very famous bike making town and the team gave a bike to every european club they played. The also check up on the clubs to see if they still have the bike if the ever meet them again in european competition.l
  6. Ok the start of the season hasnt quite panned out as we hoped but im confident leguen will get it right. all we have to do is get behind the team and give them all the encouragement we can muster. dont bicker, dont pick out our deficiences and most of all dont get on the teams back. Its our job as supporters as well as the managers to motivate the team and we can do that by getting the roar back into ibrox. thats all we have to do. I dare say we will drop a few more points along the way (sooner rather than later) but there are another 35 games to win this league and were only two points of the top. I reckon the next 4 or 5 games will be as bumpy a ride as the last few but by then leguen will have come up against all the teams in the league and he will have a right good idea of what hes up against. The title will go to the wire but when they are dishing out the prizes im confident that well be in their fighting.
  7. why the hell is everyone on huttons back? We hadnt even kicked a ball this season and people wanted rid of him. He had a pretty solid game on saturday and still people critisise him. Get off the guys back and let him get on with playing for Rangers.
  8. Ive just read the article and it was fucking brilliant. im reading this guys column every week from now on.
  9. do they do a Scottish Sunday people?
  10. A team that is worth watching i full expect the atmosphere at Ibrox to to take a much needed turn for the better. Critics argue that the banning of sectarian chants and all will kill off any atmosphere at our stadium but this couldnt be further from the truth. The real reason Ibrox has been like a morgue is down to the fact that the quality of football over the last couple of seasons has totally abysmal. Think about it. when was the last time you sat on the edge of you seat buzzing with anticipation and the adrenalin flowing through your viens? Answers on a post card please. The truth is weve all been sitting with our heads in our hands in our hands watching the games through our fingers for as long as i remember. Even when we did get a result under Mcleish the football wasnt pretty. But that time is gone and weve served our sentence and it looks like the good times are gonna roll again. Let them, I say because we the supporters deserve them.
  11. hutton played well yesterday and deserves his chance.

    Letizi

looked very confident going in for the high balls and pulled of a great save initially before odonnell scored.

    UEFA Cup

    thought we were straight in.
  15. I think it will be a long hard season. if we are 6 points of the top after nine games ill be happy. Hopefully by then the team will start to gel and then we can build up a bit of momentum to see us through the rest of the season. Just be patient lads, we have one of the top managers in europe but dont expect to much too soon. Leguen will deliver but give him the time and support to see him through.
  16. It isnt Uefa that will be deducting points its the spl who will be doing it on a three strikes and your out basis. 3 points, six points then relegation. Personally I cant believe there are some clowns around who are still considering singing these songs that are in question. Lets hope the club take some very swift actions against those who do and leave Rangers football club to the real supporters.
  17. I dont expect to see to much of the big man this seaon either. Damn shame.
  18. Im not trying to be too critical colshy but im a tad suprised at some of the optimism after todays game. As i said before there was some nice one touch passing going on but there was a lot of long balls as well. It worked for the most part when prsu was on the park but Boyd is lucky if he wins one high ball in twenty. I felt for him today as he got no service whatso ever and that is the midfields fault. I certainly dont expect Hemdani to partner clement again as ithink they are far too similar. I hope Ferguson takes on a more attacking role in midfield as he was wasted playing the way Mcleish fielded him last season.
  19. sorry but we lost our edge when dado came off and its worrying that hes the only guy in the team that can hold the ball up up front. Im not as impressed as much as everone else with sionko though i reckon hell come good once hes settled in. Boyd never got any service at all when he came on for the second half though Ndayie looked sharp which was a real bonus. Clement is a real steal and breezed through the game and is a certainty to partner ferguson in midfield. If stevie smith doesnt get the nod for left back ill kick down PLGs door myself and as for buffel ive always been a fan and expect him to be a major player this season. Best thing about the team today is that we were very rarely troubled at the back. Svenson and Rodrigez look good together and will grow in strength as the games roll by. We also moved the ball around with some nice one touch football which was a stark contrast to our style of play under Mcleish. As much as i hate the term it will take the team time to gell so i wont be expecting too much from them untill they have half a dozen competitive games or so under their belts.
  20. correct pete. quite a lot of Rangers fans seem to think we have already won the league just because he came to manage us. I am confident that given time and support from the fans that PLG will be a major success at Ibrox. But we have to be patient. Im not looking for the usual quick fix that we have been used to in the past im looking for PLG to lay the foundations for a team that will take us into the next decade and hopefully taking us up to a higher level, especially where europe is concerned. Theres no better manager around Than PLG at the minute and we are very fortunate to have him so be very patient over the next season or maybe the one after that too. Just dont expect too much too soon. It took Alex Ferguson 7 years to get it right at Man U but he got there and they reaped the rewards in the end. I dont think we will have to wait that long though.
  21. dont waste any more of your money craig, the only letter i ever recieved from the RST was one to renew my membership. didnt recieve any newsletters at all.
  22. theres not many good managers around with a cheque book never mind without one. PLG seems hellbent on doing without one the way he goes about his transfer business. We seen what happened to Mcleish when he had do deal with bosmans so i wouldnt be too hard on OLeary as he was strapped for cash himself. Dont think being in a league were the prices and wages are inflated helped either.
  23. The RST should start a petition in the name of the fans against the likes of Jackson or anyone else who delibrately attacks the club and send it to murray. Maybe hell be able to gauge the amount of unrest amoungst the fans over the subject.
  24. it was hearts supporters who did it. think six of them were named and shamed in the national press.
