    It's not horrendous.

Good: Hagi, Bassey, McLaughlin, Defoe, Balogun, Itten, Sakala, Wright, Lundstram, Sands, Tillman, Matondo, Colak, Yilmaz, Lawrence.

Bad: Kamberi, Simpson, Diallo, Zungu, Ramsey, Zukowski (homesickness, but a good young player, with potential so I wouldn't say it was a bad move).

Roofe and Helander are good players, but with their injuries they're not great signings. We can't get players of their quality. I wouldn't say they were bad, though.

Itten didn't work out, but I think he's a good player with potential. He's scoring for fun for the champions of Switzerland just now. I don't think we used him properly.

(Bacuna - I'm still convinced this was done for a quick flip, which did make us money.)

Like I've said, it's not egregiously bad.

In the good section , there are at most 4 who would be considered first picks if all fit 🤔,  the rest squad fillers .

I agree about Roofe and Helander , also who signed Aribo

  2. Ross Wilson signings that I can think of,

Hagi ,Kamberi, Bassey,McLaughlan ,Defoe ( though he signed on loan prior to Wilson , he signed a contract under Wilson ) ,Balogun , Simpson ,Roofe ,

Itten , Bacuna , Diallo , Sakala , Zungu ,Wright , Ofoborh ( giving this one a pass due to the boys health issue ), Lundstram , Sands ( loan with option ) ,Tillman (loan with option ) , Zukowski , Ramsey , Matondo , Colak , Yilmaz , Souttar , Lawrence , The other boy from Leicester that I can't remember his name , Helander , then there are loads at academy level  .

Realistically that's a horrendous list of failures imho .

Forgot Ben Davies , plus the resigning of Macgregor , Davis and arfield , Goldson and Tav.

Not necessarily, as a coach under a manager. The manager directs everything.

As I said, Beale has more expansive ideas than what he implemented under SG.

I don't know why I'm being picked apart on this? It was a half-arsed solution to the 'we're skint so can't afford a new manager' group.

I want us to look for a better option than Vos.

Not disagreeing with any of your points , I actually like your posts and think your more progressive than most

I merely put forward Vos as a cut-price option after a hypothetical sacking of GvB. My suggestion that he could do a 'better' job than GvB is based on his high regard as a coach, in terms of his eye for detail, his interest in tactical concepts and patterns, and his 12 years in the Ajax system.

But surely he would or should have some greater influence over how we are playing now 🤔

But, but, but we're skint! And the board are useless!

    We're finished.

    We should just pack up.

    Admin 2.0 here we come!

We are meant to have a DofF that would give us continuity,  but we have ended up with a manager whom it appears has no style of play at all , it was exactly the same in the league last season , nothings changed .

I fully accept the injury list is horrendous , however the players today are more than capable of winning that game .

  6. Definition of Insanity is what we currently are , playing the same slow plodding turgid football but expecting a different result.

We simply cannot play against these teams , we've been struggling for 2 years now,  and expecting different results .

The Feyenord fans that were on various podcasts all predicted this would happen .

He has to go , and go now.

Strangely, of all our CL debacles this season, tonight was probably the one where our options were so limited that it's hard to blame the manager or the players he had available. Whatever you attribute it to, we just didn't have the ammunition required to compete in this gunfight.

But you should expect the team to at least compete , not stand off and admire the opposition .

  8. Yet anothet turgid performance , no passion , no work ethic , no set up , we ended up with 3 wingers and Wright playing behind Morelos , and yet again we ran 4km less than the opposition , thats every game in these groups we have been vastly outworked by teams that have the ball more than us , thats criminal in my book .

God knows where we go from here , the amount of players injured , and also out of contract at the end of the season is mental .

I hate to even mention this but , that mob across the city went and got a manager and allowed him to bring in players he knew and that he was sure could play his system , we have done the opposite IMHO .

  9. one last point that im not sure if its been raised , but Lundstrams booking was a disgrace , imho he 100% knew what he was doing , there was absolutely no need to foul the boy , where it happened and why , just another small example of a player doing his own thing , again only my opinion.

OK, the 2nd half where we actually tried to put the opposition players under some pressure was somewhat better but the lack of quality again stark through the team. Europe all but done for the season so imperative we reset with a win on Saturday. Who in this team fancies it?

This team has the look of a bunch of players that know there is going to be a change of manager , you can see it a mile off .

I really fear for the rest of the season if we don’t find some fight through till the World Cup break .

  11. It’s blatantly obvious and has been for weeks now , these players either don’t understand how GVB wants them to play , are unable to carry out his instructions or GVB simply doesn’t understand they aren’t able to play the way he wants .

They have downed tools , I’m pretty sure some of the ball boys have run farther and faster than some of our team .

i said it last time , he needs to go and go now .

We need a replacement to be identified first. Did we learn nothing from the Pedro debacle?

Is that not part of Ross Wilsons remit , oh hang on .
