  1. Work needed right through the team but we have to start with the defence surely. Stop letting in silly goals and make us hard to beat again. Not strengthening the defence was Warburtons main downfall for me.
  2. What an embarrassment. Thought shit like this was behind us.
  3. Same story every game. Waste so many chances and gift the opposition their goal. So frustrating after playing well first half.
  4. The dark days are over.....here we come! Fucking brilliant!!
  5. Hate all this 'the truth will come out some day' pish. Has no-one got the backbone to tell us now what the f*@k went on. Until then why should we believe anybody.
  6. This is one of Ally's problems all along- he's too much 'one of the lads'. No way should he be up there as manager. The players think he's more of a pal than anything.
  7. Sounds like Prior is a friend of Malcolm Murray and has got Stockbridge in his sights!
  8. Probably because he's always made it clear he's not interested in moving anywhere else. A rare player with morals before greed.
  9. "At least two high net-worth Rangers fans are closely monitoring events, and one would be prepared to move immediately if he felt it was in the best interests of the club." Not this all over again! Was sick of hearing of these Rangers men last time who would only move if it was in the clubs best interests, for nothing to ever happen.
  10. More and more chairmen coming out against it. Looks like as GA said in an earlier thread; the worm has indeed turned. Its a busted flush and the times up for those SPL clubs that are clinging on for dear life.
  11. CG reminds me of O'Leary at Ryanair. Even bad publicity is good publicity to him but he does run an extremely successful company. However he thinks he IS Ryanair and can come out with some rubbish at times just to get in the headlines. At some point Ryanair will have to replace him with a less vocal, abrasive CEO as there comes a point when his ego is more a hindrance to the company than anything. I can't see CG lasting any length of time at Rangers as he is the same as O'Leary and already he's causing more damage than good to our club. Shame really as I wanted so much to believe he was the man to take us forward.
  12. Ally may not have proved he's the manager to take us forward in football terms yet, but as long as all this crap is going on behind the scenes I for one want him to stay. He was written off as a player then proved everybody wrong and I really hope he does it again.
  13. From Sky News: Paul Gascoigne says he is not ready to give up his fight against alcohol addiction after his emergency admission to a US rehab clinic. The Sunday Mirror reported that the former football star told his friend Jimmy Gardner: "The drink nearly finished me off this time."I know Iâ??ve never been as bad as this before. But Iâ??m not ready to give up the fight. "Iâ??m getting better now. Iâ??m not there yet, but Iâ??m getting there." Friends of Gascoigne, 45, clubbed together to pay for his £6,000-a-week detox treatment, after a relapse in January. He was transferred to a hospital following a seizure, where he spoke to Mr Gardner, 46, from his ward. Mr Gardner told the Sunday Mirror: "Paul sounded frail and weak and scared. "But I could hear something else in his voice too. I could hear grit and determination. "No one knows Paul like I do and I can tell you, he's not for throwing in the towel. "I love him to his bones. I can't think about him not being here. He'll beat the booze. He's done it before and he'll do it again." He will now spend time in isolation in rehab, and has had his phone taken away as part of his therapy.
  14. My problem with jumping straight back up is that we are nowhere near ready. Any chance of building a team with many of the young guys from Auchenhowie will go right out the window, as the cheque book will appear again to buy 'experienced' players. We would be in same situation as we were before.
