Just back from the meeting, wasn't a big turnout about thirty or so there. But what we lacked in numbers, we made up in enthusiasm. There was a willingness to forged ahead and take C1872 forward. Lot's of ideas on recruitment of new members and working groups. The two Bears who organised the meeting are themselves meeting the board of the group tomorrow to present our ideas. Sorry no earth shattering news i'm afraid, but a good positive meeting imo. Anyone with an interest in helping please come forward, C1872 needs you.

I'm in Glasgow now, but i haven't got the phone techno to keep folk updated, i'll summerise when i get back to my sisters house, not far from the bowling club.

Impossible task, you will always get one or two embarrassing the club, out of a crowd of forty five thousand. We can bend over backwards to appease our enemies, it won't make a difference, we'll slip up, they'll find something , or lie as they have done. No one is perfect, stop beating ourselves up about a few idiots in our support. Attack these feckers back hard and often, they have more to hide and have more nutters than we'll ever have, ffs they covered up paedophilia ring and glory in IRA terrorism, how about that for starters as a point of attack.

The club are definitely and clearly ignoring them, we the support have our forums, blog and occasionally C1872. We reply in an ad hoc fashion. No targeting of the gobshites, or their employers, no joined up thinking, no concentrated attack. Many Rangers fans don't buy the daily comics nor listen to their bile on radio, but they keep spewing their shite. Ignoring them imo is not a option going forward, allowing the various scumbags free reign to attack us and the club is detrimental to our brand and my shares as a shareholder in C1872. I want it dealt with.

We are already ignoring them Gaffer, or least the club is. What has that achieved? Absolutely nothing. In fact it has given the bigots, gobshites and liars more power to their elbows, masterbating to climax in their papers, TV slots and blogs. The days of we're better than that, don't stoop to their level, surely must be consigned to history. Get on the offensive attack these bigots, like Boabie says, the have more hidden in their hurt locker than we will ever have, attack them where it hurts.

We all thanked Dave King and the Three Bears for getting the club out the hands of the asset strippers, that goes without saying. However you can't live on your Laurels for ever, tangible progress has to be seen, atm we seem to be standing still. I'm a patient Bear and not to critical of King CO, however their PR and defending the club and support is absolutely abysmal and that's being kind.

I would rather have a board of one Bear that has the balls to take the fight to our enemies, than a board of fifty with no courage or balls. That;s not a criticism of John as i think he was probably told to keep the dignified silence.

New elections should be the first priority, then the departure of JB, increase in board numbers and sub-groups. Anyone going to the meeting at St Rollox bowling club this Thursday? I'm thinking of going, hopefully some new faces will step up to join the board of c1872.

I thought it was a good performance today, should have scored more though, the youngsters looked composed and skilled, that's a positive i'll take into next season.

It's a hugely tough vetting system the Bears have for someone to represent them. What faction are you from? Club1872 Peoples Front or those Feckers from the People's Front of Club1872? or god forbid the No Surrender Rangers First and Remember Rangers Trust. I would put myself forward but i have been a acolyte of all of them, so that would rule me well out. Shame as I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me hugely qualified, I'm A Rangers fan.

Well that was utter gash, the first half we set up all wrong, Aberdeen were for stronger and chased ever ball, it didn't help our cause that Toral was determined to give the Sheep as much help as he could for them to score.
