In any business the guy(s) at the top, in this instance team manager, are always the better paid, i'm good to myself. So if you want the best you pay for it, so manager for me.

Edit Of course being unbiased, fair and professional in this city, make you a target for the fundamentalist in the Grey and Green. If your not a dyed in the wool initiate of their cult, you're fair game.

He generally does, one of the very few Journalist's that doesn't have an agenda, straight down the line no bias on either side of the divide, fair and knowledgeable. If any young aspiring Journalists are looking in, copying Wilson's professionalism would be a smart move. Shame he's wasted at the BBC, Rangers could do with him as press and media manager.

Thanks to the OP for putting the thread up, but i won't listen to it, because it's from the BBC Scotland Pacific CSC and their anti-Rangers bigotry.

BH are you saying that should a new share issue be offered, the likes of King and the 3Bears will take back their original investment (shares) to buy the club , in the form of equity from the new share issue.

Nice guy Jim, very helpful and knowledgeable about our club, he will be a miss at Rangers.

That's basically the plan the board want, unfortunately we got sidetracked with a cunning plan-A. However it's back to the drawing board again, i'm actually excited again.

The ultimate chicken & egg conundrum -Rangers style
aweebluesoandso replied to Tannochsidebear's topic in Rangers Chat
Anyone turning up at Rangers claiming to own any magical implements, having visions, speaking in voices, claim I see dead people or even a case of Rangeritis. Should be burnt at the stake. -
We need a footballing Architeque who can draw up many plans. When one plan isn't working, he can go back to the drawing board in his mind during a game and redraw the plans.

Reading what's been written over the boards about Warbs and his loyalty to our club, i think the board followed the correct procedure here. If Warbs, weir and McPharland handed in their resignation, the board were right to accept it. Warbs and the other two wanted away, thought they had the Nottingham Forest job but didn't, changed their minds, till the next opportunity to move arrived. No thank you, on your way guys, thanks for the few memories.

Get a manager in with a good football brain, specialising in defense and I think we will be sound.

Not surprised, or to be honest bothered.

Might apply, how tall do you have to be?

Can i Look Yet? Rangers v Ross County Preview
aweebluesoandso replied to cooponthewing's topic in Rangers Chat
Everyone is a bundle of nerves, the players and support, you are waiting go one down, before the players calm down and get into their game The only way we were going to get anything out the game was through our wingers, going for Garner wasn't working, they had two massive defenders (well they looked massive up against Garner) who were battering him upside down in turns, wide with pace was the answer, but it was the obligatory 60mins before it was changed, late tactical changes (if you can call it a tactical change?) isn't going to work against the better teams. -
Andrew Davies Ross County - Interesting Article
aweebluesoandso replied to chilledbear's topic in Rangers Chat
Some of us have been saying this since early last season, we are one-dimensional. Even teams in the Championship were reading our game plan, but we haven't changed a thing to counter their counter, comes to the stage where critique become like hitting your head against a brick wall., it's fecking sore -
Cathro probably sat down his team put on a video of the last game at Tynecastle with us and told them this is how we beat Rangers tonight. Warbs should have put the same video on and said this is how we don't play tonight someone did their planning, someone didn't imo.

Ralston in the Record: MW on borrowed time
aweebluesoandso replied to Oleg_Mcnoleg's topic in Rangers Chat
Ralston has rolled up all the Rangers support worries and concerns at this moment, and listed them. Nothing there that hasn't already been written on here or across the messageboards, however it's from the Record so fingers in ears lalalalalalalalala. -
Warburton apologises but are we in for the long haul?
aweebluesoandso replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
True that, when i was playing football in my Easterhouse days, i went out thinking i was Pele and tried to play like Pele, being Easterhouse i usually ended up playing like Mohammed Ally. But if i was allowed to play like Pele i would have and got signed up by Rangers as it was i was a regular at the boxing club haha. Horses for courses. -

I agree with that, but to say Hearts were poor is wrong. People haven't been watching what's going on there, however paradoxically what went on last night is a carbon copy of went on the last game there with us, with Nielsen's last game in charge of them,. Cathro obviously copied the game plan, but i would contend he added to it by Hearts playing better football, however i'm ready to be shot down? -

Hearts weren't poor, we were. They had a good game, all be it we gifted them two goals, but they scored another two well taken goals. -
It's MW inability to get the team out of their Groundhog days, same setup, same plan, same mistakes. We keep hearing '' We'll learn from that mistake, bad game, poor result.....'' but do we? It doesn't look like it, we had a very poor game only a few weeks ago in the very same stadium, last night we committed the very same mistakes as last time, absolutely nothing learned. Again defensive lapses and the oppositions pace was our downfall, yet we have young players who have pace, we don't seem to step it up another notch when teams matched then overtake our pace. It's becoming worry when you have a smart man like MW and DW, but who don't see the glaringly obvious.
