  1. comparing him to Boyd like that is like saying Ian Rush was the same sort of player as Robert Earnshaw. As a goal scorer, McCoist was in an entirely different league from Boyd. And to dismiss him as just a poacher is to ignore the amount of work he did and his overall quality as a player.

I never was a Boyd fan but, look what Mccoist had playing around him, compared to what Boyd had.

Scoring against the scum is what gives Mccoist the edge.

Goals per game average,Boyd all the way, check it out.

  2. Worked far harder than Boyd IMHO. A better finisher too. Personally I wouldn't compare them. But I understand why some do.

    A better finisher?

    McCoist. .600 goals per game.

    Boyd. .895 goals per game

    Go figure Craigy:hm:

  3. Celtc fans have never got over the trauma ally inflicted on them in the 90s.

We have to try and get over what he accomplished back then Slinger,as great as it was.

What he is doing to the club today is what we have got to focus on.

He has single handedly split our fan base, where there is so much hate, that I doubt it can never be repaired.

Would love to see us all get back together again behind a decent manager.

  4. Hopefully the wage thief is gone tomorrow, and it doesn't really matter(short term)who takes over.

Just about anyone with half a football brain could do better than what's there now.

  5. Not sure I see the logic. It's not going to come out of the director's pockets. they aren't going to be any worse of because of this decision. Perhaps Ashley may need to lend us more but he's not going to lose from it. It will just bring the sale of our assets (players or property) that bit closer.

  6. he should have been sacked 2 years ago and made far less but it's not his fault he hasn't.

Two years ago? think back to his apprenticeship Slinger. He should never, ever have been hired.

Walter lost a lot of my respect, when he endorsed McSalary for the job.

  7. love the wee man exceptionally good player.

For me,over the last 10-15 years easily my favorite player, teriffic wee player.

I still can't get my head around him actually doing something to intentionally

hurt the club.Same goes for Davis and McGregor. But Whittaker I couldn't give a shit about.

I'm still hoping that one day that the truth will come out,and maybe clear these three.

  8. I think in all probability we are celebrating the service and sacrifice of all Armed Forces personnel who have given so much in all conflicts during the 100 year period of 1914-2014.

The conflict of 1914-1918 being the first World War, allows all nations everywhere to have a unified expression of thanks to those who gave so much.

Here is a website that gives a good explanation of the 'The Memorial Garden - 'Flanders Fields 1914-2014' Memorial Garden' ...

p.s. When are the Oilers ever going to get it right?

I give a shit about the Oilers Barca,I've been waiting 40 years for the Leafs to get it right.:violin:

  9. People who left Scotland before the internet took over the world made a decision to enhance their careers and let Rangers go. I have no problem with that, but the internet has connected them again to something they thought they had lost - and were prepared to lose.

It doesn't come across well when overseas fans criticise home-based fans for not turning out in large numbers, especially given our current circumstances.

Hey! Hildy screw you, I probably spend more money on my club in a year, than most supposed Bears typing into Rangers sites(you know the ones always asking for free screaning of games) ever do.

Me and my fellow north American Bears spend a minimum $300 a year alone, just to receive RTV.

  10. An empty Ibrox should be a concern for all,ok maybe tonight against ICT in a League cup tie when there is CL football on TV can be used as an excuse for low crowds, but there can be no doubt more and more fans are showing their distrust/disgust in the cabal that is running/ruining the club as the real reason.

CL football on TV an excuse for watching Rangers??? wtf are you implying here Ian? Rangers are no longer who they used to be eh!? Did we actually die in 2012?

forget about who is trying to run our club right now,we really need all your bums in the seats at Ibrox, otherwise we are toast, and that is a fact.

  11. For all you guys who refuse to support your club, shame on you all.

Watching the game over here with a few of my Canadian friends,

So this is the mighty Rangers you're always braging about asks one buddy.

I'm lost for words, and I am truely embarrassed.(okay we won tonight)

but the stadium is practically empty, with no atmosphere.

On our recent north American tour,we had sell out crowds, and way more atmosphere(noise buzzing for 90 mins.)

I'm not sure what's holding you guys back from picking up your season tickets,

but I am sure that you are killing our club.as I said before,SHAME ON YOU ALL.
