I'm speculating here and might well be wrong, but I think the difference might be to do with the fact that the game kicks off at 18:00 on the 21st in Victoria, but with the UTC -7 hours time difference, the game will actually kick off at 01:00 on the 22nd here in Scotland.
Yeah! looks like the time difference threw me Zappa. Everything okay now.We lucked out also, just managed to buy a couple of "meet and greet" tickets At the very hotel we are at.

My tickets say monday 21st. Rangers T.V. says Tuesday 22nd.
If Rangers TV is right I will be half way back to Edmonton when the game kicks off.
totally pissed off.

cowie might actually be good enough to stay next season
What type of mid-fielder is he slinger?Right now we have no bite in the middle of the park, win very few 50/50 balls, and I have this eerie feeling that McSalary is contemplating throwing his buddy Jig back in there this comming season.

yet the same size as mcgregor and only 2 cm shorter than alexander
Rangers have a history of short goalies,(McCloy the exception) George Niven the first I had the pleasure of watching.
McGregor,as good as a shot-stopper as he is,was a bit of a nightmare himself with high balls into the box.

Bell is much younger and is still to enter his prime. Working with (hopefully) better keeper coaches than he had at Killie will hopefully see him progress too.
Too short for me,a total nightmare with high balls into his area.

Aye, I know he's been playing left back, but he's apparently versatile and I'm pretty sure Elfideldo has said a few times that he thinks Sinnamon is better at right back than left back.
Watched a few reserve games last season(Hi-lights Rangers tv)and thought Sinnamon was the most consistant for them.I was very impressed, and if he is a natural right back, even better.

When Hearts signed Alexander last week, one of my first thoughts was that they now have a better keeper than us.
To be honest, that's what I was thinking.

Still 2 or 3 positions needing strengthened though. RB for starters
Would a goalie be one of these positions? Just wondering if Im the only one not sold on Bell.

Gotta agree with Compo, the France top for me just looks way classy when worn by an athlete, not sure how it would look on the typical footy fan though....
I really think the French top oozes class, easily the best for me.

Costa Rica win 1-0 against Italy. England out. Italy and Uraquay in tie breaker next.
England really are woeful, most overrated nation in professional sports. The reason they keep getting to the world cup,and the Euros IMO, is that they always get the easiest of draws to qualify.
On the other hand,as bad as Scotland have been over the last decade or so,they always have had the most difficult qualifying section to go through.
Anyway as much as The tartan army, and The flower of Scotland make me cringe,I believe we finally have the right manager in place to take us to the 2016 Euros.
Laugh if you like, but I am pretty confident we will make it.

Soft penalty, but when a defender puts his hands on an opponent, it presents an opportunity to go down easily and runs the risk of the ref buying it.
Yellow was the correct card for Neymar. Caught him, but no swinging elbow.
Olic jumped in to the goalkeeper. Could have gone either way.
Wach his eyes, deliberate elbow. If that had been a Coratian it would have been red for sure.
Host nation must stay in the tournament at all costs is the unwritten rule.
Looked like the keeper may have jumped into Olic, 50-50 ball terrible call.

Shocking decision,it's a fix
Typical Brazil, they just have to fall down, and a free kick is a given.
Why doesn't Neymar get a straight red?(deliberate elbow)
Why does the ref deem Olic(i think it was him) fouled the brazilian keeper?
Never a penalty,and
Coatian keeper was dreadful.

bill mcmurdo is a confidence trickster who preys on the poor.
anyone getting involved with him should be ashamed.
I always find him to be a fine upstandig fellow.

I don't think that would go down very well.
Miller might be the better all round player, but he's not as consistent and reliable a goal-scorer as Boyd is. Boyd scored 22 goals in 37 appearances for Killie last season and none of them were penalties.
As far as goals go,you're right, but Miller can contribute way more in different ways than Boyd.

It's interesting that you mention a centre back because bringing back a player like Carlos Cuellar is exactly what we need right now. A vastly experienced defender like him could really help guide and develop the defensive side of Mohsni's game and strengthen our defense. There's two major hurdles in the way of something like that happening though: 1) We can't afford to sign players on high wages & 2) Ally won't drop Jig.
I still have a sneaky feeling that Daly will be Center back this coming season, and if we are going to bring back Miller or Boyd surely Miller is still the better all round player.

Sorry wasp,
I just called Jake at the ticket office and he has confirmed that the game on the 23rd July, kick-off 7 p.m., is against the Ottawa Fury FC at Lansdowne Park, Ottawa (the old Ottawa Roughriders park of the CFL).
They are a newly formed team in the NASL, and played their first game on Feb. 26 2014. They are currently placed 8th, pld 7 pts 7, in a ten team league.
I think the NASL is a higher league than the USL. Hopefully they are at least on a par with Dunfermline etc.
Their two nearest neighbours are the Montreal Impact and Toronto FC, both of whom are in the MLS.
Full name
Ottawa Fury FC
Founded
2011

TD Place Stadium and
Keith Harris Stadium
Ottawa, Ontario
Stadium capacity
24,000 and 3,044

Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group (OSEG)

Well with Ottawa being a first year team, this should be a safe fixture (even Edmonton beat them) but with McSalary in charge, who knows?

thats worked out lovely. enjoy.
Will do Slinger, and who know's I may even catch the game on the 23rd.Fingers crossed it's somewhere in BC.

Can't say I know a lot about North American football but this tour looks far from glamorous. Not the end of the world but it's a shame we couldn't line up a category A MLS team while we were there...
In saying that, with a game still to announce, who'd bet against a game v the Whitecaps in Vancouver...?
Believe me Franky,we don't want to be matched up against the Whitecaps, they would tear us apart.MLS way superior league to the SPFL now.
As luck would have it,my wife and I will be in Victoria the week of the game,so put me down for, I will definately be there. My first live Rangers game since the 1973 Scottish cup final.(3-2 over the scum)

Anyone heard where Mr King is and what hes up to? He seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth.
We can only hope.

More money maybe but they don't have a Rangers or Celtic.
No! but they do have a better all-round game to watch, and not forgetting that Portland vSeattle is like a local derby, with sixty thousand maniac fans.

He did this in the MLS.
To be honest the MLS is a far superior league to the SPFL, and I will argue with you all day on that one.

Gordon isn't great in terms of commanding his box in fairness
Got to disagree there Slinger.

The anti Ally brigade are beginning to get tiresome. Change the record people.
Change the record? change the manager, way more appropriate.

Pay as you play and it could work out great. He is a very good keeper if fit.
Big if obviously.
Good Idea Slinger,I personally never fancied Bell (hate it when a keeper can't command his box)
Always loved Gordon (should have signed him years ago). If he is fit and ready to go,and the money is right, then I say go for it.
