  1. Our support took a "wait and see attitude" with SDM and look how that turned out. Our support - myself included - took a "wait and see" attitude with Craig Whyte and again, look how that turned out. I won't stand back and watch someone who has no reason at all whatsoever to be here (other than money) fuck us over again by waiting and seeing just what he will do when there are a group of Rangers men INLCUDING our greatest living manager at the forefront of the call to arms. Others are free to do what they want but don't moan when/if it goes tits up under Charles Green because you have absolutely no right to do so at all. This is the last thing i'm going to say on this subject because quite frankly, i'm sick to the back teeth with all the bickering and negativity towards Saturday's proposed plans mainly because people don't like the group of people/fans groups that are backing it. Bluedell - You were at the last meeting prior to the Hampden March. If you want to come along to our meeting for Saturday to discuss your views, you are more than welcome too. It's at the same location as before at 6pm tomorrow.
  2. I've heard a few stores about Jim recently and they've not showed him in the best of light to be honest. This statement from him is typical of the people who have been working for our club over the years. Our support collectively are a very strange breed at times. Unable to see past bullshit and will instead have spoon-fed to them what they are supposed to like, sing, act like and support. The infighting amongst our support is truly staggering. When you try to arrange and organize events like Hampden and Saturdays forthcoming Rally, it opens your eyes up to a lot of things and wonder just how some people can even support the same team as you with some of the things they say and do. We are all here for the same reason - the love of our club. Petty agendas, past disagreements and politics ALWAYS end up sufracing. It's even happening now within the RFFF I hear. I honestly thought we were getting somewhere after the Hampden march. Every fans group were behind it. We all sat round a table to formulate a plan to defend our club. Days after that, I was loosely threatened by one of the people who sat next to me at that very meeting and helped to Marshall the march. You ask yourself sometimes is it bloody worth all the hassle but you know what, it is and it will be when we get OUR club back and into the correct hands. If people can't see that going with Green is wrong, and won't back this just because groups like the RST are behind it then their opinion is going to further damage our club. If someone like Walter Smith can't unite our support as one then we are royally fucked.
  3. Who is wee proclaimer and where does he post? Very easy for people to start sniping on the internet at others trying to do the right thing to help our club. See when he gets off his arse and actually does something, then he can preach to people.
  4. There seems to be a split opinion on this Saturday's proposed plans. First of all, I fully back the rally and the reasons for doing it. I’m not as heavily involved with organizing this one but I’m in constant contact with the person/people that are and I’m helping out and giving advice to them going on the back of the Hampden one I arranged. Anyway... This isn't an anti Charles Green rally. This is to show our support to Walter Smith. CG has worked hard and done his best and is now in possession of the club. He has also been the face of Rangers recently, giving our manager a much needed and deserved break and I think his positive energy comes through in his interviews and in recent meetings that he has been in with various fans groups. For this alone, he should be thanked. But for the good of our club and for Green himself, both in the short term and in the long term it's imperative that he accepts the inevitable and sells the club to people who really care about it which also includes a certain someone who universally as a support we can get behind and trust 100%. You also have to ask yourself the question - “do you think Walter would get involved at this late stage if he thought CG was the correct person to take the club forward?” Everything has changed dramatically with Walter's recent announcement and if our club are to get back to where they should be and if CG and his consortium are to benefit from their work, then it can only be through selling Rangers on which is what they planned to do in the long term anyway. This is no time for the Rangers support to be anything but united and if you cannot see that then you will damage the club furthermore through your lack of insight. *It's also worth pointing out that events could change throughout the week and this Rally might not even need to take place.*

  7. To all of the Rangers Family, Rangers Fans Unite would like to thank everyone who took part in last Saturday's march from Queen's Park to Hampden Stadium, a march in protest of the Scottish Football Association's recent sanctions imposed on Rangers Football Club. As anticipated, the demonstration passed peacefully with Strathclyde Police Chief Superintendent Andy Bates remarking: "There were no arrests at today's protest and I'm delighted at the way that the supporters conducted themselves." Spanning all age groups, the Rangers support assembled on the day to show that if they feel the need to make a statement, they will be heard. During the demonstration, fellow fans of all generations marched shoulder to shoulder. This was precisely what Rangers Fans Unite had planned and hoped for, a day where the entire Rangers family came together to voice their opposition to what they feel is such a severe and unjust punishment. This is just the beginning of our united front. With the size of support we know we have, we can build on the success of Saturday's march. We must continue to defend our beloved club where we feel injustice has occurred. There is a real possibility that our club could be placed into liquidation and we must aim to prevent this at all costs. Now that all the Rangers groups are working together, action will be taken to face the challenges ahead. Tomorrow morning, Monday 30th April at 9:00am, the delegates of the member clubs of the Scottish Premier League meet at Hampden Stadium in Glasgow. The twelve clubs will consider a number of rule changes on "Financial Fair Play" which could have a massive effect on Rangers Football Club. The great response to Saturday's 'call to arms' has sent out a clear message across Scottish Football that simply cannot be ignored. And while we understand the urge to protest against yet another governing body, after constructive discussions among our united support, we propose that further demonstrations should not take place until we are fully aware of any actions the SPL may take. Unity is strength and unity shall be maintained! All Together Now, Rangers Fans Unite

A great day all round. Thanks to everyone who helped to make this day the success it was. We truly are the People. Our Club will NEVER die....
  9. Rangers Fans Unite call on all Rangers fans to support a march to Hampden Park to be held Saturday 28th April. At Hampden Park, Rangers legend Sandy Jardine will address the fans. The assembly point for this is the Victoria Road entrance of Queens Park. March off is 1.30pm to Hampden where a short rally will be held. The march and rally are against the unfair, draconian and unsporting punishments meted out to Rangers FC and it’s fans because of the behaviour of Craig Whyte. We urge fans of all ages to come along and make this a day of protest for the whole Rangers Family. Everyone must rally around at this time of great crisis. Rangers Fans Unite is an initiative created by fans inspired by the colourful displays of the Union Bears and the Blue Order who have spearheaded the organisation of the march. The march and rally is supported by every fans organisation and website. CODE OF CONDUCT FOR MARCH AND RALLY. PLEASE ONLY ATTEND IF YOU ADHERE TO THE CODE OF CONDUCT AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS OF STEWARDS AND POLICE AT ALL TIMES. PROTEST ROUTE: http://i50.tinypic.com/2ij1g0.jpg
  10. Will have an update in regards to this tomorrow along with more public statement. Essentially, this is now being fronted by the Union Bears and The Blue Order. Due to their experience and sterling work in helping to create a fantastic atmosphere at games at Ibrox, and on the road, this will help bring needed organisation and a spine to the protest. A meeting is arranged for tomorrow. Members from various Rangers websites, forums and organisations have all been invited to attend. Here, plans will be finalised and we will release the aforementioned statement so everyone knows what is going on. Finally, I just want to again stress the importance of Saturday. All fans are welcome regardless of age although it must be remembered that during the march/protest you will be seen as a representative of Rangers and we hope every individual remembers this and acts accordingly. These bears bite back, now is the time for the Ibrox Roar to be heard!
  11. No probs mate! Thanks for the kind offer. I had a message from a Bear this morning offering to donate £100 for flyers etc but to be honest, I think the word can be spread now through Soical Networking and word of mouth. Once I get the go ahead from the RFWG and perhaps an RST Statment (which i'm in converstation with just now) I think that will be the boost we need to get this to the masses. I personally don't have the time to be disrtributing flyers to Bears pubs etc in the run up to Saturday If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, please let me know. It's still a work in progress! Thanks again for your kind help as always Frankie.
  12. Thanks for fixing the OP Frankie. Someone made that flyer late last night and didn't 100% proof read it before hand Oops! More news to come soon (Empire)
  13. THIS SATURDAY 28/04/2012 Meet in Queens Park for 1.30pm. More details to follow. Union Bears are on board.
  14. I reckon we should go for this after our home game against Motherwell on the 5th May. It's an early KO at 12.45pm. Get to Hampden after it's finished.
  15. The Cup Final is a decent idea. It would allow us to ruin this sham organisation's showpiece event. However, it might be too late waiting until May. THE TIME IS NOW.
  16. This is a call to arms. The time is now. This HAS to be done. More so than ever. A plea to us all to unite. Every single Rangers fans forum, organisation, RSC. Spread the word in every possible way. Post on other Rangers Forums, Twitter, Facebook, Text Messages, E-Mail's, phonecalls. The Bears are coming together and it's got the potential to be huge..... We have stood about for far too long. Other than the Kilmarnock game, we haven't shown our strength in numbers like we can do. Outside the Main Entrance at Ibrox that day, the atmosphere was fantastic. We were just hit with the news that had entered administration. A day that many thought would never happen and wasn't possible. Since then people are constantly saying they feel helpless on here. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. It's time to show just how powerful we Rangers fans can be. Our club are dying infront of our eyes from a death of 1000 cuts. Just when we think we could be reaching the end of this epic, draining saga the SFA have imposed an unforgivable punishment by fining Rangers Football Club £160k and a 12 month ban for signing players which is monumental in terms of rebuilding, should new owners take control for next season. It's of course not known at the moment, but this could have a disastrous effect on a preferred bidder being announced and the SFA have all but ensured that they want us gone. The final knockout blow has possibly been delivered tonight. Our money is drying up. The players contract's will soon be defaulting back to normal terms, key players are out of contract soon, no Season Ticket money has been made available and of course, Dilly and Dally will be wanting paid. But are we going to go down fighting? Not a fucking chance.... There are plenty of Bears on here and i'm sure many others worldwide that don't use forums online to vent their frustrations that are feeling utterly hepless in this situation. Not everyone is in a position to donate to the RFFF. Those that can, have which is superb. Others have arranged fundraising nights, sorted raffles and auctuons and had other events to help boost our finances. But there are still Bears I know feeling that they can't help and are watching their club die infront of them. In a few weeks time, we might not have a Rangers as you and I both know it. We are forever going in seperate directions as a support with these type of protests in the past and ultimately, they fail or aren't as successful as they should be. We are the Worlds Most Successfull Football Club. We have shown as a support just what we can be capable of and it's time to show that again. Manchester '08 showed the size of our base. Was that game more important than showing the world how much our club mean to us espeically when they could soon not be around? Personally, I think not.... This can be our time to be as one. Feel as if we are ALL doing something together. Let's not look back in hindsight. Let's not think about what we could have done. Let's make this happen, NOW. The Rangers Family together again, showing that we truly are The People. The Union Bears have agreed to be in attendence. They will provide colour and extra noise. The recent protests and displays at Ibrox have been fantastic but we have the chance to make a real statement, outside of people's comfort zones. Let's take it to the streets..... The event is scheduled for Hampden. This will be to show our disgust at The SFA who have been shown to be bias and corrupt and have done all they can to hammer the final nail in our soon to be closed coffin when other national associations would be doing all they can to help their biggest and most successful member club. Let's not forget Regan's walk out recently also when in attendance with members of the Rangers Fans Working Group and the subsequent lies he gave about that incident. But, this can be our chance to have a voice about other issues. The whole administration process has been a farce. Strung along, deadline by deadline. We have to sit by and watch this without really knowing for sure just what the hell is going on. Every Bear is at their wit's end. Threat's of Liquidation left, right and centre are making this a nightmare of epic proportions. Let David Murray know what you think of him. Let Craig Whyte know too. Other SPL clubs want us gone too, there is talk of our titles being stripped from us, our history being wiped out. We can't stand by anymore and allow our club's name and our reputation to be dragged through the mud due to missmanagment by a Liar and charlatan in David Murray and a complete conman in Craig Whyte. Should this be successful, it has to remain dignified and peaceful. Let's sing until our throats can't handle it anymore. Let's make out point clear. However, let's not do the wrong things that will give our enemies more ammunition to throw our way. It's not us as a support that's in the wrong here. We are being punished both emotionally and mentally with this. We have done nothing but support our team and be there for our club. Our absent friends that can't be here to help are not to blame either. Let's be their voice too..... SATURDAY 28/04/2012 - 1.30pm - Queens Park (Victoria Road entrance) #HampdenProtest
  17. Excuse me but we are not all wankers over there.....
  18. Personally I think it's a breath of fresh air to see Weiss wind them up and a throw back to how it was in the NIAR Era. The likes of Boruc, Lennon, Caldwell and McGeady have had a carte blanche to say what they like about us so it's great so see them get it back.
  19. To be honest in regards to GersNet, I loved it here in the past. You could get to know various posters well as it was really small, have great debates and one on one conversations with fellow Rangers fans without being lost in the crowd. I introduced theboyharley to this forum and back in the day, it was in my opinion the best Rangers forum around. The poster Craig even bought me my first membership for the RST to encourage people to join and raise awareness of their work when they first started out. It helped mould my views as a Rangers supporter into what they are now. I will be eternally grateful for that kind gesture As time went on however, it became clear that there was a clique of people with elitist views and opinions. It became very childish at times on here and that was one of the reasons why I left. No disrespect to Frankie though, the work he does is sterling.
  20. Yes, it's VERY wrong. You are saying Weiss deserves getting death threats from Tarriers for having a bit of banter with them?
