I see on another forum that McCulloch has come in for some severe criticism yet there's not a mention of this on Gersnet. Why?
  2. I would not accept any such invitation as that would send the clear signal to those who tried to kill us that 'it's ok, you can shit on us any time you like, we'll always forgive you because money means more to us than principle.' (Or should that be Sporting Integrity?). We have a chance here to do something that no other Scottish team has ever done and that is win all 4 division titles. Liewell's cabal would just love that and for that alone, it would make the whole exercise worthwhile.
  3. The only reason they would have started taking bets is just to fleece the mug punters. Butcher? Indeed! The very idea.
  4. I do so hope that you are right. However; I have a sneaking suspicion that part of Walter's remit will be to soften up the support. I believe that if we were to accept this poisoned chalice, it would have a deleterious effect on ST sales.
  5. I think they signed on the strength of (a) the money they would be getting and (b) because of the club, not the manager.
  6. Absolutely. Let Regan and his sidekicks spend as much as they like on any investigation that they like. Why should Rangers hand over the results of an investigation that has cost the club a six-figure sum?
  7. I would like to think so but I still feel that whatever new players McCoist brings in, he will still play them out of position.
  8. I hope he doesn't accept any fast tracking and capitulate to the Lieswell cabal under the guise of 'building bridges' or, ' we have to move forward'. Alas, I think he will. I do not see this as an advancement at all, merely a steadying of the ship - at least, I hope that's what it is. I have this morbid dread that overtures will be made to bring Bain and others, back.
  9. I agree. I always thought of Leggo as being one who runs wi' the hares and barks wi' the hounds.
  10. Why is this "story" from a discredited organ even being discussed. Surely I cannot be the only one who has noticed the absence of quotation marks?
  11. I would reluctantly agree with this. the empirical evidence is there for all to see.
  12. I would not call Ally a Muppet but comparing him to Ham'n'Egg just does not hold up. Greig loved Rangers to the extent that the club's success meant more to him that his own position within the club at that time. I get the impression that Ally simply cannot accept that he is not the manager he seems to think he is. As for McDowell and Durrant?; I think the Peter Principle applies.
