Roofe’s finish was Brand-style. Did my eyes deceive me or did he adjust his position by half a step just before delivery of the pass in anticipation of the angle? -

I’ve been reading that for years. -
Far too much credit given to Hollicom. Spence is more than capable of this balloonery on his own.

Got a yellow in the closing minutes last night. Did nobody tell Collum he’d signed for Aberdeen?

Scottish football stadiums could reopen for spectators

You could argue that a new system needs the most stringent test possible. And who are more capable of testing a system than the green balloons? -

How true. Fair play to them, they put it about a bit against the tims the other week. -
I agreed with you but we are wrong and 26th is right. Thirty one matches, an annual event in the 1890s/1900s.

The scum are better able to overcome these difficulties. Better attacking players. Better coach? -

Ten out of ten to McGregor for attitude. -
Aye, right. I’m with you now. City can get by with a defence of strollers when they have Silva and Aguero . Mahrez and Gundogan are a good step down.

Rangers have entered a formal agreement with Reach Ltd
Scott7 replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
If there is I hope it’s from the Reach side. I think JohnMc #16 has got it right. If you want your chestnuts roasted cheap, the Devil’s your man. -
Balls. Golf balls in ancient times.

Sannies? Gutties? Nah. San’ sheen. I’m sorry for folk who can’t talk right. As for trainers. All right for la-di-da Embra folk I suppose. Talking of Embra folk, I noticed Craig Gordon had come out in such a hurry he’d forgotten to put on his socks. Either that or Hearts didn’t pay him this week and he couldn’t afford any.

Going by the list of names, all the good guys have resigned. Cooney again, Murphy and McHaghney. Is that last a real name or is it made-up professional Irish-keelie?
-
That was interesting. Judging from TV (not a good idea) McAusland looked like a decent defender. Basically none was a success above journeyman level in lower leagues.

Never knew there was an official change. I just thought “blues” and “pensioners” went in tandem like Everton “blues” and “toffees”. Good match. Evened up when Pulisic went off then Chelsea started to defend like Arsenal. The second yellow for the sending off was undeserved.

The niar teams used to do this as well though the lead they sat on was more often 2-0. The tims on the other hand were always thirsting for 3, 4, 5.

That’s the best Rangers change strip of all time. Could be improved with navy stockings with red and white trim.

Thanks to Rousseau for the match commentary. I’m far too mean to pay for the telly and I will not listen to bbc Rs. I did manage enough peace and quiet to get twenty minutes of R5. Conor McNamara from the ROI is an excellent commentator. Charlie Adam was on as well. He is no more knowledgeable or articulate than any other old pro but at least he is not possessed of a visceral detestation of Rangers
