The tim that had a go at Gordon Strachan at Parkhead in the days when Strachan was a Don.
John Brown intercepted a pitch invader. Can’t remember the occasion. Pity he hadn’t been playing in the 2016 Cup Final. He would have enjoyed himself at the end. On second thoughts, if JB had been playing Rangers wouldn’t have lost and there would have been no exuberance.

Aye, all right then but how about some of his Wonders? That’s two going on three seasons without any.
And don’t speak about slow-grinding mills. Nothing wrong with a bit hurry-up now and then.

Time He got wired in on our side, then.

OK. We've had nearly 24 hours for reflection. Time to throw off the sack cloth and look ahead to better times. As the good book tells us:

Aye, but Paul didn’t support the Rangers.

I laughed but it’s probably right.

Tackles won - 1/2 (50%)
Tavernier only tackled twice in the whole game? And he only won one? What sort of fullback is that? You would think he’d been playing behind a dominant midfield and rampant attack. Or maybe Dundee played with no left flank.

Some feet.
I know what you meant but they certainly play as if their feet are tied together.

Got to hand it to the lads. Staved off defeat. Plucky.

Chelsea should revert to that strip. If it must be all blue, wear blue socks as well. White socks are for Real and ballet dancers only.

Sir, we salute your optimisticability.
If there’s a charge to be led, you’re the very fellow to do it. Just don’t look behind to see who’s following.
Actually, you are right. There’s nothing to lose now. Get wired in from start to finish.

Helander played a Championship winning season.

Underwood’s 1968 performance against Australia at the Oval. Came home early from work to see that. Seems like yesterday. Count the short-legs and silly points.

The defeat at home to Motherwell was the killer. The team hasn’t been able to recover from that.

Six. An old style Chelsea whacking.

You sound like Hugh McIlvanney. (That's a compliment by the way.)
Thanks but in my entire life I might have written about four lines that McIlvanney could have written in four minutes and then thrown in the wastepaper basket.

A superb bowler. I think Wardle and Laker have better Test averages but they played many fewer matches than Underwood which probably helps. Also a lot of his matches were against the West Indies when their batting was unequalled yet I don’t remember him getting flayed.

I voted Cantwell but interesting that the stats point to Tav. A player the vast majority want dropped, roundly criticised for his performance yesterday, but statistically MOTM.
Football is a funny old game.
The eye is not deceived by stats.

Was there ever a sight more fluidly elegant than Lillee in his run-up?
On a par with Nijinsky the racehorse and well superior to Nijinsky the ballet guy.

The answer is Prince William. He supports the Villa, and lives in a Palace
We don’t wish to know that. Kindly leave the web.

I read somewhere that Jimmy Greaves could be man of the match having kicked the ball three times - two goals and the kickoff, no need to launder the shirt and shorts.

Disappointed for Arsenal but a great weekend for City. Just hoping Liverpool sustain their decline and that’s a Club I used to admire pre-Heysel and Hillsborough.

How do we get rid off Tav and Goldson?
they’re both still contracted for another couple of years
Surely some hard-up Sheikh with a football club would pay £500,000 for the pair. Good bargain.
