I said to a friend pre-match that I was worried about yesterday's game, more so than Hearts and / or Killie.

Motherwell are a well organised, physical and hard working team. They are 3rd top scorers in the league.

To lose any game is gutting, but Motherwell deserved their victory and games / performances and results like that happen.

It's how we react to this that is the more concerning aspect. After we lost to Celtic we went on a great run, we'll need to do the same again but with the current injuries it's going to become increasingly difficult.

PS - when do I get my gold 🏅

Let's be fair, the signs were there on Wednesday as we got bullied for most of that game to. Out with a flurry in the 2nd half we were very poor interms of our application and grit.

I'm pessimistic at the best of times. I always envisage us dropping points away from home.

But to lose - not even draw, but lose - against Motherwell, at home, is gutting.

It would seem logical regarding losing points on the road but while not being spectacular, we've been better on the road this season. ie. Have dropped less points and conceded less goals.

It all comes down to the 7th of April at Ibrox imo who ever wins that will kill the other fan base optimism and turn the fans on the players right near the end of the season there will be no recovery

I genuinely think if we had got to that game unbeaten and then beat them we would be Champions.

Another thing about Goldson, why does he bother going up for corners?  He is clearly incapable of heading the ball in the direction he wants it to go.

We could've had 1,000,000 crosses today and still not scored.  We should take different kinds of corners and wide players should aim for the byline and cut the ball back because crosses against that kind of defence are a total waste of time.

I'm somewhat confused as to why we've reverted back to out swinging corners. They are pointless IMO. I thought our in swinging corners were starting to cause problems.

I'm not sure Lawrence play twice a week?

He came on as a sub so he obviously can. Two games in a row where we've not started with our strongest team. Surely better to start Lawrence and manage his minutes from a winning position rather than when we are chasing the game.

Don't want sound defeatist but maybe the injuries are just catching up with us now?

  6. When does rotation become tinkering? Get Diamonde in the middle for Raskin and Lawrence in the 10 position. Lawrence will be on cloud 9 after Wednesday. With all due respect to Raskin, the title run in isn't the place to players up to speed. Just play your strongest XI at the start of every game please.

  7. Just a wee observation from last night. Killie are a very organised team that thrive off the reset after breaks in play IMO. If you cast your mind back to the 1st game of the season, Tav jogged about 50 yards to take a throw in, much to the ire of every fan watching. It played perfectly into Kilmarnocks hands. Game gets slowed down, they get to reset. Fast forward to last night. Dessers takes a quick throw immediately and Killie are on the back foot resulting in Lawrence getting fouled. Once again we get ball active right away and bish bosh, we get our 2nd goal. How times have changed...

You aren't, but there are others, who like me, think he (and Borna) are not good enough.

He may have brought "dynamism" to out LHS, but what are his goals / assists? I'm no stat man, but I'd say he hasn't brought any more goals or assists to the team than Borna Barasic has.

When he has played well, I've acknowledged it, he played well on Saturday but was, IMO no where near MOTM. Lundstum, Dessers and Dio were all ahead of him.

Some think that because I don't rate Yilmaz, it means im a Borna Barisic fan. Far from it. Barasic has been a great servant, but his time has come and gone.

It's no coincidence that we attempted to sign a left back in January and IMO it'll be the 1st position we strengthen in the summer.

If Ridvan starts / continues to improve, starts to add goals and assists then I'll happily "eat my hat", until then, I'll refrain from the Ridvan is on fire narrative.

I'm not too fussed about his stats tbh. I'll go with the eye test and I can see a player that definitely suits this team better than BB. Let's not forget, BBs stats for assists where only half decent due to law of averages as something positive was bound to happen from the 394 crosses per game we were witnessing under Beale Ball. 🤣🤣
