We are learning from our mistakes.
-
If there was no money for players he should have said that and not telling everyone there was a sizeable transfer kitty. It is funny he is now changing his tune and putting any money back to January now that the season tickets have been sold. Warburton has said the January window is very difficult. The league could be well gone by January. I am not attacking him for not investing he has just not been honest in what he has been telling us.

I thought most were paying 600 pounds so with corporate seats, sky boxes plus the more expensive season tickets that the average would be a lot higher than 500. I also thought I read 48 mill somewhere but I am probably wrong

I am starting to get a bad taste in my mouth. I feel Mr King is starting to backtrack on the money investing in the team. I know wages cost a lot but he has just reaped in about 48million in season ticket money. We have not even given 1 million out on transfer fees. I understand we are short of cash and the club needs to be run within it's budget but if there is no money to be spent then MR King and indeed Mr Warburton should have been honest up front and said we can only afford free transfers. It is starting to feel like like I have got your money so I can cut the spin and start with the the softening up procedure. A new player tomorrow but we all know tomorrow never comes. I am also starting to think he is using the Ashely situation to cover for the low investment in the team. Mr Warburton keeps telling us we need to learn from our mistakes but it would seem he is not learning anything as everyone can see the defence is very poor. A Centre-Back should have been his first priority and there should have been cash available for a decent one. We could be 20 points behind by the January window. Russian roulette springs to mind. I really doubt we will be fighting for Europe with Kiernan as our main centre-back. We really should be taking the chance on a 2-3 million pound CB who has the possibility to be sold on for a lot more. I hope I am wrong but I have the feeling MR King is trying to pull the wool over our eyes to a certain extent and keeps moving the goalposts. I know this won't be popular and yes we are in a better place than a year ago but spin is spin whoever uses it.

The way he pulled up and lay down immediately says to me that his Hamstring is torn. I doubt he will be back in 4 weeks but I suppose that is the hope date. I think I will be nearer with my 6 weeks and hold on to that. That way I can only be pleasantly surprised.
-
They paid 9.5 mill for McGreedy and Barrie is a far better player than him. I would be looking for12mil+
-
A Hamstring is 6 weeks no matter how he tries to be positive. Yes modern physiotherapy can speed things up but a hamstring is a hamstring so pencil in 6 weeks for his return.

Rangers v Hamilton - Our mission, should we choose to accept it...

Kiernan wasn't where he was for nothing. He is a 3rd division player and I am afraid he won't be going much higher. I believe Waggy (certainly) and possibly Tav were fighting below their weight but Kiernan is a low league player and is in the Rangers first team by default. -

If Kranjcar stays on his feet and just ushers Crawford out of the box then there is no danger and no goal. Yes the ball should have been cut out way before that but god knows what Kranjcar was thinking about. -

Just a thought. The team that is top of the league after week 1 rarely wins it. So I hope we win but do not top the league. -

Sorry I have been really busy today and have only been on for short bursts. I have been mucking about not quite being able to settle down. I didn't realise what was wrong until I read your article. I am bloom'n nervous. That is one good point about an early kick-off you are not nervous the whole day. I was supposed to go away for the weekend with the wife but I told her she was on her own so she is now going with my daughter. -

I would imagine with your team that Forrester would be the deeper player and McKay out wide. I think Kranjcar is a certainty to start probably at the expense of Forrester. -
I will say for Gunslinger and Zappa they were on to Green very quickly. Unfortunately it is not easy spreading the gospel in the Rangers family.

We have given notice on the 7 year deal with SD but as you say I have no idea what is the deal with the other contracts . The big contract for Rangers is the one to Rangers Retail. As all the other contracts seem to be with RR, so If we can get out of that then we can stick 2 fingers up at everyone and let RR worry about them and probably die a death.

To put it simply for any luring Dhims. I am 59 years old and my company is Liquidated. It does not mean that I die. It does not mean that I go back to being a baby. God I would start a company tomorrow and Liquidate it if it did. It means the company I was running no longer exists. Football clubs also use companies to run them. A football club plays football and let's the company behind it run the business part of it. If the company behind it pull out for any reason the club will move on You can start a new company within 24 hours and it costs 12 pounds. Celtic supporters should know this as they have changed their running company many times to hide debts incurred. Starting a company takes about 24 hours and costs 12 pounds. Unfortunately it is as easy as that. Now get on with your life over at Celtic FC Limited which was previously Pacific Shelf 595 limited and also previously The Celtic Football and Athletic club Limited and also Celtic PLC. People in glass houses should not throw stones.

I read this last night but refrained from putting crap like this on the forum.(sorry Ian) It is not worth the paper it is written on and the paper it is written on is worthless. The Scotsman will never get another click out of me again.
-
Of course they would. If Puma thought they were getting a deal with a club the size of Rangers for 7 years they would be groveling all over Mikey for the deal. Then there is the fact that Mikey has them for many other teams and business. Rangers are just a small piece in the Puma - Mikey relationship.
-
I can. If they issue a statement and get sued for it then it will not effect the main company if they have to pay a large sum. Make the small company bankrupt and go merrily further.
-
So was I,
-
I would guess because of TV showing? Either that or the players want to get onto the beer early.

Colin we cannot change anything from on here. I personally have no idea what goes on at other forums except here and I read FF when it is quiet on here or I am looking for info. If you want to change things then it has to be done from the inside. The last thing I want to read on here is the dirty washing from other sites. I think most will agree.

I am not a legal expert but I would imagine Rangers will be well within their rights to refuse entry to Ibrox to anyone wearing shirts showing the Rangers crest illegally. Whether they would take that action to their own supporters is questionable but it is a possibility.
