  1. Craig if they have the funds would there be any logic in not "waiving" thsi debt immedietly? Should we be concerned that he is earmarking our European Revenues for this purpose if the LBG debt isn't "waived" fairly soon?
  2. The debt hasn't been paid by Wavetower/Whyte yet. The debt is still with LBG, who most certaintly will be wanting it back. If Whyte proposes to clear it from his own funds I see no logic in delaying it when all it will serve to do is prolong the substantial interest rate payments.
  3. I'm pretty sure since they use the word obligation that this debt will be wiped out. However I'm wondering if there is a time constraint on it and Wavetower will publish their own annual reports so we should be able to see how the debt was paid off when it does happen.
  4. Does this mean the debt is no longer our problem? or could Wavetower delay their obligation to pay the debt back and hope to fund it by European revenues?
  5. I read it as Dave King is suggesting a equity offer to raise the funds. Think bottum line is Whyte hasn't proven he has the cash to implement the model he submitted.
  6. Sorry 24 hrs after that debacle of a first half I still stand by my OP. He set such high standards early on? in 1 game. he has played another 40 odd and he has only had 1 performance showing what he can do. He has been mediocre to poor in the majority of other matches save for a half hour here and 20 minutes there and a few good strikes. I completely disagree that he was our best midfielder last night the game passed him by in the first half (as it did the rest of the midfield) but in the second half I would say he was the worst out of the four. Davis although not sticking to his position (which is a serious negative when Dailly was at RB and we needed an out ball) got forward played simple forward passes (not daft weee flicks) and had a good effort on goal saved by their keeper. Edu as a DM done his job well of getting the ball and passing it to Mendes, Davis, Whittaker or Lafferty. I do not blame him one bit if he got the ball played it simple for mendes only for mendes to make a sideways pass to dailly that edu could have made himself. Edu is there to allow mendes freedom to get forward and play which he didn't do. Lafferty was technically speaking our LM ( although he was only using LM as a starting positon to become a third forward) for the second half and he done ok got the ball down well and ran at them. he showed that he is not a LM as he all too often drove inside and the fullback began to read it, but for someone playing out of position he still affected the game more than mendes. The only midfielder that done less in my eyes was Smith and he quite rightly got hooked at HT. I honestly can't think of one thing Mendes done last night that came off or led to anything of note barring set pieces, and lets be honest if we only need someone for set pieces we could have just kept Smith on the park as his done more damage at Easter rd a few weeks ago. I know there is no chance of him being dropped for Saturday and all i can hope is that he forces me to come on here and hold my hands up for getting it so wrong about our superstar midfielder but I seriously doubt he will.
  7. Here in lies the myth of both players. That Ferguson only passes sideways/ backwards and Mendes plays forward defence splitting passes. Ferguson passes forwards as much if not more than Mendes. (Still not often enough) Mendes for the past 6 months has been taking the ball from the Centre Backs toes. moving forward 10 yards then passing wide to a full back or to a wide midfielder. When he does try a forward pass it comes off 1 in 10 times. He surrenders possesion far more than Ferguson ever did and for that reason he should be punted. I'm not even going to start on the flicks with the outside of the right boot that hardly ever come off. As I've said Davis and Edu in the middle for me. I know this leaves us with a place wide right to fill as Davis is played there due to us having little alternatives. For the last few games of the season I would go with Whittaker Right Mid (he looks the most creative player we have just now) and one of Fleck/ Beasley/ Miller if Fit at wide left. Leaving Dailly at RB and Papac if fit or Smith at Left back. We need to score a barrowload over the next 2 games and I think that team could provide plenty of chances for a Lafferty/Boyd Partnership. In the summer sell Mendes and Ferguson and try to find a real Right Mid so we can have a middle 2 from 3 of KT/Edu/ Davis in the middle.
  8. My OP may have been a bit strong probably due to the dissapointment/anger built up ion me at the time but I stand by pretty much all of what I said. Mendes flatters to deceive. He offers very little and has not kicked a ball since KT got injured. He has had such an easy ride from the fans this season it's unbelievable. He has played to his full potential once and has lived off the back of it ever since. I would rather he did not play for us again as Davis has and will offer far more for the remaining 3 games and for the future.
  9. I cannot stand the man. Never in my life have i felt so negatively and so strongly about a Rangers Player. I hope he never kicks a ball for us again. He is a complete waste of space who thinks he is far better than he is. He has lived off of one good performance in a Rangers shirt and a few good strikes. That fu(king shit with the outside of the right boot he does it at least 3 times every game and it works once if he's lucky. He is a big headed wannabe who thinks all he has to do is turn up and he can do what he wants as he is far better than who he is up against. Guess what Pedro? Sol Bamba gave you a fu(king hard game thats how fu(king good you are. I want him binned for Saturday. After whats went on with Barry Ferguson I'd rather he never wore our jersey again but if I had the choice I would have a half drunk, half fit off form Fergie before this portuguese imposter. This cnut has had it easy all season because we all know he is capable of being the best player in this league by a mile but he hasn't bothered his arse to show it. When i think of the abuse some Rangers players have got over the past few years who have done far more than this Ar$ehole ever will it sickens me. Barry Ferguson, Charlie Miller, Peter Lovenkrands, Kris Boyd, Lorenzo Amoruso even Bert Fu(kin Konterman all done more than him yet he gets a free pass while these guys got dogs abuse. Well enough is enough Pedro Get tae Fu(k.
  10. No doubt McGregor is my preferred option to leave from our sellable assets. Still wouldn't want him to leave as it would definatly weaken our first team although no where near as much as Boyd or Bougherra would.
  11. Has to be the biggest failed thread in history. The code is to prevent scotlandsshame.com to link to http://www.rangers.co.uk Which it does but the Earl Haigs have created another site go.scotlandsshame.com which now links to the website. The guy made out as if the source code was malicious and put there by a tim. Can't believe people are still trying to stick up for him. A cheap stunt to generate members for his site.
  12. I had a gutter at the weekend too Had Sunderland on 4-0 winning from 15 minutes or so Wigan 3-0 winning early doors Aberdeen 2-1 up from half an hour Wolves 2-0 up from about the same Scunthorpe 4-4 up from 15 minutes and leading 4-1 at 55 minutes. Done me for £95
  13. Does my box in aswell but I think that is the point they don't want us generating our own atmosphere It bugged me when the soldiers came on a few weeks back. Ok play the charity single maybe it will generate more interest in it but after that they put on other songs whilst the bears where trying to vocally show their support.
  14. TBH I see both of your points and when as I mentioned she also told my brother to shut up I said to him at the time " If that was your wife you wouldn't expect you her to sit their and be silent " Maybe I'm letting my dislike for her blind me a bit but seriously everyone round about where she sits are getting a bit fed up with her. This spat between them was ongoing for about 5 minutes and when this guy had a word with the stewerd her and her mate just sat their and sniggered. She came across as if she thought she was untouchable because McGregor is her fionce.
  15. That has to be one of my favorite moments at any Rangers game. Their was a feeling amongst the bears that we had won the league that night. Obviously it turned out to go to the wire. The bears went absolutly nuts when that goal went in, other than Novos pen in Fiorentina I don't think I've ever celebrated a goal so much
