  1. A BBC Scotland survey finds that more than half of Scotland's professional clubs intend to cut wages and squad sizes to counter to credit crunch. More...
  2. A survey of 2,500 Scottish football fans finds widespread support for greater use of technology. More...
  3. Some rascal over on VB produced this interesting survey. Apparently, some bears are being quite inventive in their responses. Good luck:) http://www.survey.bris.ac.uk/stirling/celticfc
  4. Onto the final part of our supportersââ?¬â?¢ representation debate ââ?¬â?? this week weââ?¬â?¢re analysing the results of our simple survey and taking the conclusions from them in conjunction with the comments from Jim Templeton and John MacMillan. Please note 68 people took part in the survey and weââ?¬â?¢ll represent their answers to each question as a percentage. http://www.gersnetonline.net/newsite/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=721&Itemid=2
  5. http://www.gersnetonline.net/newsite/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=716&Itemid=2 Some interesting stuff there. As I hinted at in the original article it is extremely obvious problems remain with all three main supporters' organisations. We really need strong and trustworthy leadership to examine these flaws, offer alternatives and provide solutions to address the subject properly. I'll post the results of the survey later in the week with further comment.
  6. http://www.sportswise.info/surveys/rangers/rangers.htm Seems like some sort of research pre-cursor to a 'Bar72' elsewhere in the stadium... A membership scheme is all well and good but the ideas in this survey seem rather limited and concentrated on raising funds as opposed to working with the fans properly. I have no problem with the club exploring money-making ideas - such seats don't interest me personally though - but if they want to continue to approach us for cash, then I expect more than an E-Xmas Card.
  7. If there is one subject matter that should concern all Rangers fans, it’s that of representation for our opinions and how we can affect the running of the club. Unfortunately, like many aspects of Rangers nowadays, the organisations involved appear disjointed and poorly organised while suffering from a lack of true unity and strong leadership. Over the next fortnight, Gersnet looks to examine the status quo; give you the chance to offer your opinion (via a short survey) and use your comments as well as those from experienced representatives to analyse the issue in full. http://www.newsnow.co.uk/A/312515805?-11344 Link to survey is within main site article. Only 15 questions so please take a few minutes to take part.

  9. http://www.rangerssupporterstrust.co.uk/rstsite/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=138&Itemid=1 The Trust is delighted to release the results of their recent online Rangers supportersââ?¬â?¢ survey. Please visit the downloads section of the site to peruse the document (PDF File ââ?¬â?? 76K). It is the most comprehensive online survey ever conducted on the views of Rangers fans and covers all aspects of following the club - from the match-day experience itself through to the way the club conducts its relationships with customers, both internal and external. This report will be submitted to the club at the earliest opportunity and the Trust urge the club to consider and comment on its contents. We hope they welcome its findings - as valuable data has been obtained for the Club - at the sole expense of the volunteers who run the Trust, and trust its value is recognised. Please note that this survey was open to both members and non-members of the Trust.
  10. http://www.rangerssupporterstrust.co.uk/rstsite/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=134&Itemid=1 On the day of the Rangers AGM, the Trust (in association with 3 Rangers websites) would like to give every online supporter the chance to submit their thoughts on the important issues at the club. Not every fan is a shareholder and not every fan can attend the AGM so the Trust views this as an ideal opportunity for these people to give their opinion. From the stadium; to the media; to the running of the club and to what you think of the supporters groups; all the main issues will be covered in this unique online poll. While it may not be the most scientific census ever commissioned; the results will be interesting nonetheless and we look forward to obtaining a good turn out as well as some interesting debate across the online community. The survey has been put together by Gersnet Online and the following link will take you to that site in order to complete the poll. Simply follow the instructions on the link and the results will be reported back over the next few weeks. Visit the survey The Trust would also like to take this opportunity to thank Follow Follow and Rangers Media for helping to publicise this initiative and you can visit their sites and forums via the following links. If any other Rangers site wants to get involved please contact us and well add you to the list.
  11. the silence is deafening from ibrox on the transfer scene. so bad that even the media have stopped speculating. walter has had plenty of time to survey the transfer market and target players but given the lack of activity i dont expect many more players to come through the doors at murray park.
  12. For some bizarre reason I take part in this football league survey every season, they email it to me! But i didnt vote for sacking draws - that would be a terrible decision. They think it would make the games more exciting but it would be the opposite IMO. Smaller teams would play defensively and play for a penalty shoot out and hope they get there win that way. Then you could see some average sides making the play offs via this way and possibly getting to the Premiership. Its a no-no for me. Look at the CHelsea v Spurs 3-3 draw last week - great entertainment - some draws are fine. Plus i like to have a flutter on 3 draws at the weekend and I always back Championship draws.
