  1. Recently, we launched our new Gersnet Podcast and we've been delighted with the response across the community with thousands of views and hundreds of subscribers across the various platforms. As promised the pod will be available on a weekly basis so today we're very happy to bring you our latest episode. This week, Ross, David and Stewart analyse another insipid performance at Parkhead and ask just who is to blame for these continual let-downs. The lads also discuss the Steven Gerrard managerial rumours and ask if he'd be the right appointment. At the moment you can subscribe to the pod via the platforms in the link (remember to download their app from the App Store and/or Google Play) if you want to listen/download on your mobile devices. If you encounter any problems, then please email us for help. https://www.gersnet.co.uk/index.php/news-category/current-affairs/906-gersnet-podcast-005-old-firm-embarrassment-continues

As promised the pod will be available on a weekly basis so today we're very happy to bring you our latest episode. For our this week's broadcast, @Govan Rear Bear, @rfb1872and @pete discuss an improved performance against Hearts and ask who from that team has staked a claim for this Sunday. Player suspensions, fan protests and new kit deals are all discussed as well after a busy week!
  3. Last week, we launched our new Gersnet Podcast and we've been delighted with the response across the community. As promised we're hoping the pod will be available on a weekly basis so today we're very happy to bring you episode two! For our this week's broadcast, @rfb1872, @pete and @Soulsonic5791 discuss if the 4-0 win over Dundee was as impressive as it sounds amidst a not quite sold out Ibrox. The lads also look forward to this week's cup semi-final and pay tribute to Ray Wilkins.
  4. After an intense period of testing, panic, technical embarrassment and, eventually, excitement, we're delighted to announce the launch of our new Gersnet Podcast. Each week our eager pool of presenters and guests will review all the relevant Rangers news, as well as offering up their analysis of that week's matches. Usually we'll be recording every Sunday evening for a release on the Tuesday or Wednesday. Now and again we'll also be looking to record some special shows along with some extra guests. For our launch broadcast, Colin Armstrong @Govan Rear Bear , Ross Bennett @rfb1872 and myself look back at the draw with Motherwell whilst also discussing OTT stewarding and a lack of choice for Rangers fans watching/listening to games. We're still currently awaiting propagation (and approval) from some platforms but we're hopeful the podcasts will be available very soon across several providers. At the moment you can subscribe to the pod via the following platforms (remember to download their app from the App Store and/or Google Play) if you want to listen/download on your mobile devices. Colin Armstrong (Govan_Rear_Bear / @moonman1873) Ross Bennett (rfb1872 / @RossBenn1) Stewart Franklin (Frankie / @GersnetOnline) David Fraser (Soulsonic5791 ) David Tomlinson (Pete / @GersnetPete) We've also had a wide range of other people express an interest in appearing so you be sure of a varied line-up and topic list over the coming weeks and months. A special thanks goes to our talented sound guru @Big Jaws who has been a huge help in getting this off the ground and he'll be doing the dirty editing work each week. Anyway, I think that's enough information for one post so please have a listen of the pod and post your feedback on the forum and/or get in touch via social media or email.
  5. Dear all, Last year we indicated that we were hoping to see if we could get a Gersnet Podcast on the go and, after some discussions and very early preliminary testing, we're confident that we'll be able to progress this over the coming weeks with a view to having something ready to go for the end of this season (or certainly for the new campaign in the summer). The format we're looking to go with is that of a nominal host with a couple of guests per pod and we'd initially be looking to run these monthly (audio only to start). I think we'd aim at around 30-40mins length wise and the content would obviously be agreed and planned in advance to ensure a decent discussion. We're kindly being helped production wise and reckon this could really compliment the written content of the site. In terms of content, we'd like to explore that going forward but, being monthly, obviously recent team form and current affairs will be our primary consideration and the quality debate we see on here shows we have several people more than capable of being involved with this - both members and non-members of our popular forum. Tech-wise, it's all fairly simple and easy to get started. We intend using Google Hangouts (more info here) and this can be utilised via your computer or handheld device. Most PCs and laptops have their own mic installed but you can use your phone if preferred. This is all done via your home wi-fi connection so won't cost you a penny! As such, we're now at the stage of looking for contributors to do some further testing and informal auditions. Unlike submitting written content, you don't need to worry about spelling and grammar and, initially at least, we'd only be asking for around an hour of your time on a monthly basis so it's not overly intrusive in that sense. There won't be any video so we won't be scaring any younger members! We'd now like to open the discussion to the floor. Feel free to ask any questions on our forum and we'll try our best to answer them.
