Afterlife on Netflix a comedy about death, suicide and dementia and yes it works and works beautifully, it's pure comedy genius.

the Kominsky method is great. as is Kobra Kai if you liked the Karate Kid films.

Kobra Kai, whilst cheesy, is a nice throwback

Just read that Mel Gibson is directing a remake of The Wild Bunch.

Not content with singlehandedly ruining Scottish politics, he's now gunning for Sam Peckinpah's best film.  I hate that antipodean midget!

while i agree with you. These remakes do open up new younger audiences to westerns. The new True Grit was cracking.

Aye but Jeff Bridges is cool, whereas John Wayne was a tosser.  And Sam Peckinpah was cool, whereas Mel Gibson is a tosser.
