Is it because MIH is showing signs of recovery now so there's less pressure on SDM to sell? Is it because the continual down-sizing means there's reduced pressure from the bank and SDM is spying a chance to hold on to the club and get more money in a few years? Is it because Ellis was "unsuitable"? Did the talks just break down for some other reason? I hope there are a few "insiders" rushing to phone Andrew Ellis and ask why he allowed them to make such arses of themselves. A few others might want to offer an apology to Wabash for some of the abuse he took. The deal is done ... just another 48 hours ... done by Monday. At least we now know why Walter decided to stay for another year. How can you say that? Who do you think led us to this situation, the bogey man? How can you just absolve Murray? How can you possibly believe that Murray is some sort of paternalistic custodian? Even the most blind amongst us must surely have noticed the association between Murray's ownership and the hapless condition of the club. I'm not shocked but I do feel hugely disappointed that we still have supporters who are prepared to extol this tosh about Murray putting the club's interests first.
