Rangers and Celtic to get new Audi's

Recommended Posts

THE Lomond Audi Group, parent company of Glasgow Audi, Edinburgh Audi, Stirling Audi and Ayr Audi, today announced a £3 million sponsorship of Celtic and Rangers.

As the official car sponsors of Rangers and Celtic, the Lomond Audi Group will provide a fleet of new Audis for each club's players, management team and back room personnel.

Talking at today's launch at the impressive Glasgow Audi facility at Braehead, Lomond Audi Group's Sales and Marketing Director Derek Clelland said: "Our sponsorship of Celtic and Rangers is a great opportunity for Lomond Audi to enhance awareness of our centres in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling and Ayr and fits with our objective to promote the Audi brand throughout Scotland.

"Audi is a premium brand with considerable sporting pedigree and is already heavily associated with leading football clubs such as Manchester United and Bayern Munich.

Consequently Lomond Audi's partnership with Scotland's two premier teams is a great fit and creates the commercial opportunity to increase the number of new and used cars we sell in Scotland".

Rangers Chief Executive Martin Bain said: "Lomond Audi has established a well-earned reputation of excellence and we are delighted to welcome them to our sponsorship portfolio as the Club's official vehicle supplier.

"Lomond Audi are investing heavily in their brand, utilising the power of football and Rangers and I am confident our association will benefit both parties.

"This club prides itself on developing long and fruitful partnerships and we look forward to a prosperous and mutually beneficial relationship."

Well I will be fighting to get my old Peugot 405 through it's MOT in October.:(

An Audi! Surely Lafferty will look down at that :fish:

It would be nice to see the odd player giving away a free car to charity or walking into a supporters bar and doing a raffle and then giving it to the winner. You dont hear about these things anymore, money has gone to players heads. Despite being in our worst financial position of recent years some of our players are still taking 60k home a month!!!
