Scotland 3 - 0 Faroe Islands

Recommended Posts

As a big Scotland fan in the past, my support for the national team is slowly drifting. I just cant get excited about anything Craig Levein does or says. The lack of ambition shown from the SFA and the "it must be a scotsman in charge" just derails the good work Walter and McLeish did by appointing an alcoholic then a run of the mill SPL manager.

WS had us up to 19th in the rankings, and now we sit 57th!! Thats ridiculous.

That 4-6-0 is going to come back to haunt Levein.

1st half was a stroll in the park and the 2nd half was even worse! It made for dire viewing. In the end I gave up and watched I'm a Celebrity.

I thought Charlie Adam had a great game until he went off injured and probably my MOTM.

Strange no Maloney - not complaining though.

One of the best mifeliders scotland has, he is fit and on form and doesnt get picked , Wonder what would happen if he turned round and told Levein to GTF as he didnae want to play anymore :suspect:

If I was wee Shaun I'd tell Levein to ram Scotland up his shampooter.

Maloney will have been left out so we can't moan about Levein giving so many huns a rest

The Huns haul almost every one of their players out of the squad.

So are the Scotland supporters on here comfortable with that?

Seriously, Danny Wilson?

Mark Wilson emdy? Played in the CL a few times, won a few titles, won a few cups?

Naw - lets just pick a hun. eff the SFA, eff the Scotland team, eff the sub-Harry Potter lookalike who has won eff all and couldn't force Gary Mackay out of a one-cup Jambams team.

Only one team in my eyes, and Benthoof and Elbows ain't in it.

WGAFF? If any of our players play in this nonsensical face, Lenny doesn't have the coconuts I thought he had.

Hope the Faroes win 4-zip. :)

Now that Maloney has been called up one has to assume that he wasn't included initially because he's not good enough - if Levein really was going down the road of giving the untried a chance then he would have called up some youngsters last night. I don't have a problem with that, if Levein doesn't rate him then that's his perogative.

Every hun has now pulled out - as, incidentally, have Davis and Lafferty from the NI squad. Realistically these are the two associations which will roll over and do the bidding of Smith/the huns. Or am I just paranoid? Good to see everybody going the extra bit for the huns in their hour of need. Who does need quantity when everything is done to nurse your piss poor squad through the hard times? As usual with this mob, it stinks.

Oh and Maloney will be nowhere near the squad when the chips are down and the huns decide they want to play in the qualifiers btw.

Team via STV

Gordon, Bardsley, Caldwell, Wilson, Crainey; Commons, Fletcher, Adam, Bannan, Maloney; Mackie.

Im told its confirmed.

Hope our man doesnt get injured.

I was wrong. I thought it would have taken a plague wiping out millions for Maloney to get a game for Scotland.

Turns out he just needed all the huns to pull out.

It's interesting to compare his attitude to that of Boyd, McCulloch, Ferguson and co.

I'm usually a big scotland fan and go to most of the games, but recently this clown Levein (who in my opinion is turning out to be worse than Burley) really is making me loose taste for it with his refusal to pick huns and letting them drop out if they can't be arsed. We need a manager thats not gonna pander to the masonic ways of the SFA and the huns get WGS in and punt this moron. He deserves to be hung drawn and quartered for playing a 4-5-1 against the Faroes never mind the 4-6-0 against a piss poor czech team. :arrr:

One up-front, at home, against a pub team in a friendly . :lmao:

Levein plumbs new depths. And to think some Celtic fans said they'd be happy with this idiot in charge of our club. :cuckoo:

Maloney is knackered- every other player has been subbed off except him. Who is the assistant manager? Who do we play at the weekend? About time some of our players caught the 'Scotlanditis' bug that is so contagious at Murray Park.

Did Shaun Maloney play the full 90 mins?

Yes :nono:

Cheers.

Wonder if Miller, McCulloch, Naismith, Broadfoot, Whittaker, Weir and McGregor will play on Saturday? :ponder:

How any Celtic supporter can support this team and this institution that goes out of its way to shaft the club at every opportunity is beyond me. :nono:

Harry Potter's comments about Mark Wilson "missing the next couple of games for Celtic" sum them up.

anyone else find it strange that rangers players were rested from the squad due to the 'hectic schedule' the club has had? we've both played the exact same number of competitive games this season with 19
