Miller signs for Bursaspor - Undisclosed fee

Recommended Posts

Deal has obviously been in the pipeline when you consider we bid £700k for Goodwillie. Seems as if we just took the money Biringham had offered and went straight to Dundee Utd with it for Goodwillie and had it thrown back at us.

Sadly it was always likely to happen with his contract up in the summer.

A new contract should have been signed & sealed this time last year.

Adam Rooney?

Is this why Walter went off on one in the papers today/yesterday? I can see it as he wouldn't take that sort of derisory bid and run down Miller's contract where as the bank has other ideas.

Looks like it mate. Walter obviously had no say in the decision.

Looks like a solid source as well since the press aren't saying they 'believe' a bid has been accepted, they're saying it HAS been accepted!

This is gathering pace with several news sources on Newsnow's Brum feeds saying Brum have confirmed that an offer has been accepted and that it would be an initial fee of £600k.

A brum paper, the Birmingham Mail have just released a more reserved account of the story that doesn't state anything about an offer being accepted, just that Brum are closing in on a deal and Miller could go for as little as £600k - http://www.birminghammail.net/birmingham-sport/birmingham-city-fc/birmingham-city-fc-news/2011/01/07/birmingham-city-close-in-on-kenny-miller-and-david-bentley-97319-27950089/
