Muir's latest briefing

Recommended Posts

Donald Muir shared a wee late lunch on Friday for selected pressmen to give them a preview of what lay's in wait re our latest set of accounts , according to Mr Muir we were as some on here surmised actualy £40 million in debt last year( the stated amount plus the additional transfer fees due ) , now we are just shy £23 million with transfer fees and some European/scottish cup money , plus squad downsizing not included,

Will hopefully find out more tomorrow , take this with the usual internet pinch of salt but I trust my mate

Not if the product on the park's anything to go by.

Unfortunately we are in a position where we have to pick our poison... reduce the debt to a sustainable level and accept the team suffers... or.... well there really is no "or" because we have no option with this.

The sad thing is that this group of players, again, looked pretty good at the start of the season. Losing our top scorer hasnt helped but we were going to lose him anyway as we coulnt pay the wages he wanted.

All we want is answers , selling Miller made absolutely no sense what so ever , until the truth comes out and that Bastard Murray is gone forever it,s groundhog day .

Maybe in the long term losing the league might just be a good thing , because whilst we win and reduce the debt with smaller and smaller squads Murray and Lloyds are happy

Hard to argue with that. In the end there's only Murray and until he's gone we'll never prosper.
