I've been wanting to post the wee man's name for months as MotM so am delighted to do so this morning. OK he wasn't brilliant but he was much tidier in possession, worked hard off the ball and was a threat in attack. More please!

It would be :nj: for me an assist and 2 goals, Davis played well which is a good thing after recent poor form. Maybe criticising himself in the press helped, I hope so anyway.

His play was vastly improved and some of his passing to set up chances was brilliant. His best game of the season.

Agreed Davis was much better and prob shaded MOTM for me too.

 

I thought some of that could be to do with the fact that we had pace throughout the team without the 2 slowcoaches (Weir & McCulloch) in the side, and this allowed Davis (and Edu TBF) the opportunity to think more positively than always having to think about covering for the lack of pace elsewhere in the side. A lot of our midfield dropping too deep for me is down to the fact that they know Davie is so slow he needs help back there.
