While the prospective owner is willing to fund half-a-dozen signings, sources close to the deal insist this will only happen if he is in position soon. Although they are getting the money owed back early they also want to claim early repayment charges. The first is direct pressure on David Murray by very public attacks on his character, acumen and failure at Rangers. The second is a similar public campaign against Lloyds Bank. Rangers fans appear to want to shelter behind any excuse to do neither, so I see no prospect whatsoever of the club being sold any time soon. Roll up and pay your ST money.
