:dw:

So fitting that our club captain was man of the match on his 41st birthday. By and large Weir has had another fine season and his performance last night typified the quality he has brought to the club over the last 4.5 years.

Nods to Naismith, Davis, Lafferty and Edu who were all superb last night again. No coincidence that our midfield functioning properly again has resulted in more comfortable results.

One more game lads - one more game!

Really tough one to pick between Weir, Davis and Jelavic for me.

But I'll give it to:

:sd:

I excluded him from my team of the season on another thread the other day as I feel he has been well below average, but last night he was everywhere and looked a new player.

As I said in another thread it would be Edu for me i thought he was excellent last night. I will go along with Weir because of the way he played plus birthday plus his last game at Ibrox thing but Edu was the best player imo.

I think DW's emotions showed last night that he is also stopping and if he is it is a pity he did not announce it so that he could have also taken part in an Ibrox send off. I may be wrong.
