Last day of window one if it was up to me. BTW, what was all this tosh in the papers about Cardiff having made a bid for him which was accepted? Boss Ally McCoist has approved a bid for the Dundee United ace. He hopes to make top target Goodie his first signing as Rangers boss. SunSport can reveal that McCoist has held fresh talks with owner Craig Whyte over the 22-year-old hitman - who United value at �£2million. The SPL champs still believe that price tag is too high but they'll test United's resolve and challenge three Championship clubs for his signature.
