Good going. I'd still recommend getting Ccleaner and running that at least twice a week. Doesn't take long to run at all but well worth doing.

Lastly try Start>Run

Type: msconfig

Goto start up tab (2nd from right) then uncheck anything that doenst need to be run from start up and just uses resources. That will also speed up your system.

Which internet browser do you use, need to check options and make sure that particular plug-in is enabled.

Google is great lol as I said, it's only because my son must be looking at dodgy sites or something that I constantly have to clean up his laptop, no techie stuff or anything like that, just learned as I've gone along really.

1. Put this in this URL address - ' about : plugins '(without spaces at the colon - click the plus icon for details to check location)

2. Look down the list for ' Flash '

3. Disabled the flash plugin with this description:

Name: Shockwave Flash

Description: Shockwave Flash 11.1 r102

Version: 11,1,102,63

Location: C:\Documents and Settings\Jon\Lo cal Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\Application\17.0.963.83\gcswf32.dll

Type: NPAPI

MIME types:

MIME type Description File extensions

application/x-shockwave-flash Adobe Flash movie.swf

application/futuresplash FutureSplash movie.spl

4.Just click on allow then

Hopefully that might work.

Also suggests re-installing Chrome.
