Still be good games. If the Poles are shown up as anti-Semitic racists, about bloody time.

The hardest thing to take about the sanctification of Boruc was knowing that back home, the sort of abuse he was whining about was dished out to Jews (the few that remain) and immigrants without comment.

I don't see anyone beating Spain again except possibly the Germans. Holland have no chance and may be lucky to reach the next round.

I disagree Pete, not to good in defence but good goalkeepers and great from midfield to forward IMO. De Jong, Sneijder, Robben, Afellay, van der Vaart, even van Brommel, then you have Kuyt, Huntelaar, van Persie and all have lots of experience at top level. I can see them going close.

van Bommel is past it. He was past it a couple of seasons ago. Kuyt? Average at best.

Again I disagree, van Brommel is the dirty type of player you need in a team and the kind you hate to play against (he did play 39 times in a good milan team last season) although they do have de jong as well for that. Kuyt is still a very good player, works his socks off, scores goals, great team player he would be in my team every week.

I think Sweden shouldn't be written off in group D. They never lost a qualifying game. Fair enough France & England are favourite, but if Sweden bring their A-game then they are definite contenders to qualify.
