Which journos and excelled or had a nightmare during this time?

Ignoring these journalists (or printed media) ain't a way forward. They spout all sorts of half-truth and negative stuff about the club and that itself transfers to the public opinion on the club and its dealings - as we have seen. These foul-mouthers should simply be denied access to Ibrox, unless they pay an entrance fee. If their newsoutlets want reporters accreditations, they shall send different people. I for one would start a vote amongst our support who should get a press accreditation (and thus free entry to Ibrox) next season.

Completely disagree, we simply cannot vet reporters into supprters or others. Arguably if we'd had some decent journalists reporting honestly a few years ago, we may not be where we are. We need honest critics, prhaps now more than ever.

Just give us the facts Jim and let us decide it seems a lost art these days.

Think the hacks are all parasites first and foremost. Their only loyalty is to themselves and the more sensational they can make a story the better they like it - irrespective of the dammage they may do. They seem to think they are a very important part of Scottish football, way more important than fans, and ironically that they should have access to everything on behalf of the fans. Well they sure as f*** don't represent me. With message boards, twitter, email and so on they are becoming more and more sidelined and they're flailing around looking for sensationalist stories to still attract an ever dwindling audience. Until they are treated with the disdain they deserve they'll continue to peddle their pish as somehow being prescient. The pandering headlines like "Off the radar wealth" of Whyte shows just what they are - lazy so-and-sos who'll pretend to know more than the man in the street or on the internet and type out thousands of words of ill-informed nonsense in order to line their own pockets. They're loving all this - screw them!

That may require a wee wake up call to some journalists and their employers, I think that the growth of social media eg Twitter et al will eventually show subjective commentators for what they are. That's tomorrow we need a return to objective journalism today.
