The Cup game went 5-1 in City`s favour.

SWPL: Motherwell 3-3 Rangers

SWPL: Back To Winning Ways

RANGERS Head Coach Amy McDonald was delighted as her team returned to winning ways after a tough spell for the Light Blues.

The Gers edged to a 1-0 win over Spartans on Sunday, with Jade Gallon’s second half goal being enough to give the side their third league win of the season, which lifts them up to fourth in the SWPL.

The victory gives Rangers 10 points in the league and moves them to within three points of Hibernian and Celtic.

SWPL: Ready To Tackle Leaders

RANGERS Head Coach Amy McDonald says her side need to be on top form for the whole 90 minutes as they take on SWPL league leaders Glasgow City this Sunday.

McDonald says that preparations ahead of the game have gone well and her side are showing a real focus and determination ahead of the rearranged league match.

The coach admits her side must be on top form throughout the match to deal with the quality of reigning champions Glasgow City.

Glasgow City 8-0 Rangers

RANGERS fell to an 8-0 away defeat at league leaders Glasgow City in a tough afternoon for the Gers.

Glasgow City outclassed the Light Blues after four goals in a ruthless first 20 minutes from the home side effectively killed the match off.

City plays in a league of their own, it is as simple as that. Hibs or the Yahoos may cause them problems on an off-day, but the gulf between City and the rest is as wide as ever.

Back in the 92/93 season, when Rangers were on that 44-game unbeaten run, Roddy Forsyth reviewed a league game against Hibs (3 or 4-0 we won) withe the hypothetical musings of an opposition coach before and after the game.

Before: Someone`s got to beat them, why shouldn`t it be us?

After: Well, it happens to anybody else, at least we don't play them next week ...

Rangers Women’s Programme Investment Increased

Rangers are delighted to announce that the Women’s first-team and Academy have become fully integrated within the club’s football department.

The exciting move means Rangers will have the opportunity to recruit professional players, as well as turn some of our existing players professional.
