Our Game Plan Worked Well

RANGERS Women’s head coach Gregory Vignal was pleased with the performance from his side as they progressed to the fourth round of the SSE Scottish Women’s Cup with 6-0 victory against Glasgow Girls.

The Gers started strongly and got the first goal within five minutes, after Vignal urged the them to start with a high tempo.

Early Goal Let Us Play

RANGERS midfielder Laura McCartney believes Hannah Robertson’s early goal against Glasgow Girls this afternoon allowed them to go and play their football.

It was a strong performance from Rangers Women as they progressed to the fourth round of the SSE Scottish Cup with a 6-0 victory and McCartney feels the squad carried out their game plan for the 90 minutes.

SSE Cup Fourth Round Preview

 

RANGERS Women will make the trip to Forfar tomorrow (i.e. today) as they bid for a place in the quarter-finals of the SSE Scottish Women’s Cup.

Preview: RWFC v Glasgow City

RANGERS Women are bidding for a place in the Scottish Women’s Cup final this weekend as they take on Glasgow City in Stirling on Sunday.

Head Coach Gregory Vignal is expecting a tough test but believes his side are continuing to improve each week.

 

Rangers will take on Glasgow City at Forthbank Stadium on Sunday with a 12 noon kick-off. Admission is Adults £5, Concessions £2 and Under-12’s are free.

SSE Cup: Rangers 1-4 Glasgow City

 

RANGERS Women were knocked-out of the SSE Scottish Women’s Cup this afternoon with a 4-1 defeat against Glasgow City in the semi-finals.

It was a spirited performance from Gregory Vignal’s side as they took the lead in the first-half through Carla Boyce but Glasgow City managed to produce a comeback to secure their place in the final of the competition next month.

Scottish Women’s Football Awards

THREE Rangers players have been nominated for prizes at the annual Scottish Women’s Football Awards.

Daina Bourma, Jade Baillie and Mason Clark have all been shortlisted for an award with winners to be announced at a ceremony on November 30.

Rangers Sign Demi Vance

 

RANGERS Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Demi Vance from Glentoran on an 18 month contract. 

The 28-year-old has joined the club after a successful season last year, which saw her named Women’s Player of the Year by the Northern Ireland Football League.

RANGERS Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Scotland international Jenna Fife on a two-year-deal.  

The 23-year-old goalkeeper joins Rangers from Hibernian Ladies, where she has played her football since 2013.

RANGERS Football Club are pleased to announce that Brogan Hay has signed an 18-month contract extension.

Hay, who joined Rangers from Glasgow City in 2017, has committed her future to the club with signing her first professional contract.

RANGERS Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Kirsten Reilly on an 18-month contract.

The 24-year-old midfielder joins Rangers from FA Women’s Super League side Bristol City. Reilly has also previously played for Hibs, as well as a spell in America playing for the University of West Alabama.

Cunningham Joins Rangers

 

RANGERS Football Club are delighted to confirm the signing of goalkeeper Megan Cunningham from Celtic.

Cunningham joins the club on a one-year contract ahead of the 2020 SWPL campaign.

The 24-year-old joins the club with experience of Scottish Women’s Football having also had spells at Hamilton Academical and Glasgow City.
