Is Walter really what we need?

Recommended Posts

Oh and kudos here to Leggo for admitting this.

A spectacular U-turn from Leggo! I don't quite know how to react to it...

Maybe it's a positive sign that even he is now comfortable with Green. On the other hand, I'm so used to disagreeing with Leggo that maybe I'll have to start being more suspicious of Charlie... :)

Imo opinion If Walter does come back (which i hope he does) it will be as an ambassador role, nothing to do with the football side. But with the changes or reconstruction coming up and the possible demise of the SPL, i think Green could be looking at Walter to be Rangers voice in these talks. Walter knows the agenda, who to trust and who not to trust, also Walter's knows the main characters who will be pulling the strings on the so called impartial parties in any negotiations.

Green can't be everywhere and do everything for Rangers, he needs help who better to give him that help? purely speculations but who would be Walter's right hand men in dealing with our problems with the SFA and SPL?

Ally and Durrant, the three amigos, what a team to take our enemies on.

Leaves a few jobs open for a new coaching regime at Rangers. This could be a way forward and would take the support along with this idea.

How did that turn out again ? Rangers men do me a favour.

Are you saying WS is not a Rangers man?.

If he returned to Rangers it would be as a Director not in a football capacity,I think it would be a good appointment having a football man on the board

Walter is a manager end of anyone who thinks otherwise needs to think again, as for McColl etc Rangers men ? who couldn't match Green in the steal of all time, enough said.

For the record I can see why people want him back, and I wouldn't totally be against it, I just want a fresh set of ideas with in the club and feel he'd be an overbearing presence around the place?
