All tickets have now been sold for the Queen's Park sections of Hampden for the game against Rangers on Saturday. The tickets first went on sale on November 22, despite only arriving in the club offices the previous day. And due to demand from our supporters, we then increased our allocation to 2327 seats available for Queenâ??s Park supporters - a 300% increase on our normal home support. We hope all those who come along enjoy the occasion.

Plans are well advanced to make our game against Rangers on Saturday a real celebration of a historic fixture.

Among the pre-match festivities are a parade led by a pipe band, with a player from each team joining in - dressed in the style of days gone by. For the younger (and the young at heart) fans, face painting will be available on arrival at the ground.

The teams will be escorted onto the park by a group of young mascots and a troupe of cheerleaders. And the half-time entertainment will include a half-time challenge involving players from the community programmes of both clubs. More details will appear closer to the event. Please note that all hospitality packages for the game have now been sold, as has the Queen's Park allocation of tickets. Rangers supporters can, however, still buy tickets from the Ibrox club ticket centre. Arrangements have also been finalised for the access routes for coaches and cars on the day. Full details of the arrangements can be found HERE

And a big well done to Queen's Park too - seems like they want the original Glasgow Derby to be a real celebratory event. Well done Queen's - I hope there are plenty of kids there to enjoy the festivities. This is what the football SHOULD be about - enjoyment, for ALL.

If QP wanted 3000 tickets our allocation must be around 35-40,000 as there is a reduced capacity for the game due to stadium refurbishments.

That would be great to see a big crowd of 35000. With the north stand being refurbished I wondered if we'd only get our traditional west stand, but I guess we'll be behind both goals plus most of the main stand.
