McInally blasts Rangers as Division Three flops

Recommended Posts

PETERHEAD manager Jim McInally today blasted Rangers as flops, despite the Glasgow giants running away with the Third Division title.

The Blue Toon boss was highly unimpressed with how the Gers performed during their 1-0 win at Balmoor.

McInally insisted that Rangers should be doing a lot more against the sides of Scotlandâ??s bottom tier due to the amount of money at their disposal.

He said: â??Rangers have been praised for being professional for beating us 1-0, but they should be doing a lot more with their multi-million pound budget.

â??They should be wiping the floor with every team in the Third Division.

â??A lot of their players are on several thousand pounds a week.

â??They certainly didnâ??t look any fitter than us for a full-time team.

â??They shouldnâ??t be getting any praise â?? the game really should have been a no-contest.â?

Strong words, but can't disagree with them in all honesty.

... and what's exactly the reason why he is the boss of a 4th tier team again? And once he's back in April or May at Ibrox, we'll wipe the not-so-frozen floor with his lot ...

BTW, I've seen worse displays from SPL teams in these last few years than what some 4th tier chaps produced against us.

Getting away slightly from the fact that he's actually right, my first thought was that he was being pretty petty coming out and having a go after a game where he deliberately set his team out to boot blazes out of rangers.

Ally has gone out his way to be polite and respectful to every team in this league but week in and out now we are not seeing the same respect given back. Maybe now it's time for ally to openly criticise the, shall we say 'robust' style of our opponents?
