Toyed with the idea of writing a 'match' preview for this but we'll just go for the thread instead. ;)

Case opened at 10am but has been adjourned until 11 so lawyers for Rangers can read over a late submission from the Requisitioner who seek to have an open vote at the AGM on current and nominated board members.

Not very impressive by the requestioners if they are hitting the board with a submission today. That won't go down well in court.

Might be a compromise to avoid wasting more court time - might be important new evidence for the judge to consider.

Who knows!

If the requisition is refused, who is able to stand for election against the current board??? Is it possible for someone in the room to propose A N Other on the spot???

If that isn't possible, and the current board don't get re-elected....where does that leave us??? If there are no replacements, do they keep their positions by default???

If the case is refused then there will probably be an EGM called to vote upon any nominations not included at the AGM.

Moreover, even if the requisitioners win today and help ensure the present directors are voted out at the AGM then I'd still expect another EGM called by those voted off - if indeed they hold as much clout as they claim.
