So what is the Easdale's grand plan then? So far, they have been rather silent and McColl, from day one, has not said a word about them either.

NB: Since I assume the decision of his resignation was not done early this morning, one might ominously say:

"Beware the Ides of October!" (which were yesterday)

The Board of Rangers International now consists of Stockbridge & James Easdale - everyone else is away....

We may see the immediate appointment of the requisitioner's choices....

Or we may see the immediate appointment of others that put enough doubt into investor's votes to help the incumbents at the AGM?

Again ... what is the opinion on the Easdales? Are they incumbents and/or "SPIVS" too?

I struggle to define their role to be honest.

I don't trust them but sometimes I wonder just how ridiculous their (or at least their PR gurus') actions can be before they're labelled double agents. :o

We're told constantly that the current board have the backing of a large majority of investors yet you want us to believe a small minority forced Mather's resignation?

I think it's more likely that those in charge realised that Mather wasn't a suitable CEO and are looking to replace him with a candidate more likely to win ratification at any delayed AGM. Certainly doesn't look like the Easdales refused the resignation - so did they play their part as well?

Did I say they forced him out on their own? No.

They played a part though, along with the likes of SOS, Paul Murray and Malcolm Murray.

I have no idea how the Easdales feel about any of this because we haven't heard a peep out of them.
