That's fine, but do you think we should allow this unlicenced fishing to continue unabated or do you think we should pushback in some fashion?

It should ideally be situation dependent and be dealt with properly rather than unprofessionally with scatter-gun tactics and useless, empty threats as has been going on since Whyte took over.

I believe the more uptight we get about it, the worse it will get.

Difficult though it may be, the more we laugh at it the quicker it will die down.

They may not realise it yet, but it's the usual bully syndrome, pick on someone because they are weak.

Lawwell is a classless oaf playing to the gallery. Tims will lap that kind of shite up, but the CEO of Celtic should be above that kind of comment.

That being said at some point we're going to need to develop a slightly thicker skin and laugh this kind of stuff off. As long as it so clearly bothers us the longer it will go on. Ultimately who gives a fuck what Lawwell or anyone at Celtic thinks.

Recent evidence suggests quite the opposite in Scotland. Look at the perma-offended. So little gets said against them compared to what should because they complain like fuck. From fan to the boardroom.

It's not about a thicker skin, Amms. They want us to draw a line under the past, but they keep pushing their bullshit. It's time to call him to task, especially as Bearger says 'He's a member of the SFA board and should be representing all clubs, not insulting them.'

Do you think this will stop them then? Nothing will happen here, everyone who isn't a Rangers fan thinks this is funny and our reaction to it is even funnier. We can complain and I agree with those who say Lawwell should never have said it, he shouldn't he should know better, but it was a Tim who asked the question at their AGM. They ask questions about Rangers at the Celtic AGM, but as long as we keep reacting to it they'll keep pushing it.

I don't really know what you mean SA. As long as they know we react to this they'll say it. Take the power away from them, don't get offended laugh it off.

If we play this smart, we can turn it into our advantage.

Lawell's remark means that his position with the SFA is untenable and we should insist that he resign that position ....unless he makes a public statement retracting the remark and acknowledging publicly that Rangers is the same club that was founded in 1872. That would go some way to shutting Timmy up.

However in the absense of a board that can tie its shoelaces with the lights on, I don't expect the opportunity to be taken.

I don't think Liewell makes too many mistakes but this one is a gift. We must demand he comes out with a statement that Rangers aren't a new club. Otherwise his positions in the SFA & SPFL are untenable because both recognise Rangers as the same club. Let's see how good Jack Irvine is..........................

Yes, let's sit back while others treat the Rangers as a figure of fun...that will never meet will approval on a Rangers forum.
