THE Club is extremely disappointed that a flare was set off from the North Stand at today's game against Falkirk.

These devices are inherently dangerous and represent a real risk to fans. players and match officials.

Today's incident has resulted in the playing surface being damaged and the Club are now investigating this matter and will be supporting the Police with their inquiries.

The Club will probably get sent a hefty bill for fixing the artificial pitch that's been damaged.

Pretty embarrassing tbh because Falkirk only just had that synthetic turf installed in the summer, so it's brand new. It's also state of the art stuff and was the first to be installed in the UK.

It's one of the few unfortunate downsides of the upcoming Ultra scene in football, but "No Pyro No Party" is doomed to failure because the authorities will eventually start hammering clubs for it and it'll force the fans to stop doing it.
