They also know how tough it will be for Rangers to get back to the top flight, before even starting to think about halting Celtic’s procession to 10-a-row and more, ...

They are not even at 3iaR and do not exactly look like a real force either. Without tempting Fate, what gives people the idea that they can march on for another 7 season unchallenged?

I'm quite surprised by this news but, as with the Times article, it's open to debate.

It was the Calderwood Loyal in EK that he passed them to. I'm sure the guys at the Calderwood Inn (just round the corner from where Ally grew up, and still regularly visits) would be first to shout if there was any inaccuracy in the story. Anyone on here from the Calderwood Loyal (or drink in the Calderwood Inn or Salmon Leap that could confirm?).

That could be construed by both the fans and the board as Ally turning his back on them though. I think he's done the right thing here tbh.

Possibly but either way he makes himself unpopular. I just don't he should be involving himself in decisions on who serves on the board

How about this gem from the Easdale's cheerleader in chief and advertiser to McGill's busses.

Supportive as I am of Ally McCoist, I admit to being dismayed by Super’s proxying of his shares to Calderwood Loyal Rangers Supporters Club.

Apart from it looking like a snub to the board and that in itself being the wrong signal to send, it also, in my opinion, cheapens the value of those shares – as if they don’t matter enough to vote with in one’s own name.

What does that say about BPH, MFHT, Greens and all the others who have proxied to Easdale?

Consistency has never been Bill's strong point. No-one can deny a lot of his info is accurate - it's just a shame the club (or people involved with it) think this is the best way for fans to 'debate' such issues by releasing inside info to such people.
