THE Club has received many calls in recent days from fans, shareholders and other interested parties with regard to the contents of an Irish-based internet blog which has published numerous allegations about the business affairs of Rangers Football Club.

 

The Club wishes to make clear that these allegations are totally inaccurate and that the Chief Executive and Board of Directors are fully focussed on the restructuring and rebuilding of Rangers Football Club as previously announced.

The Club has decided to make this statement as unchallenged, ill-informed and inaccurate comments are damaging to the reputation of Rangers Football Club.

If the club has to issue a statement in reply to mad 3-names lies, then surely it should be aimed directly at his madness and the sectarian brush he constantly wields against the club and the support?

Maybe we actually do, but making the statement is telling all others and the Bears that they are noting the renegade's antics.

Should the board of Rangers really be issuing statements just because some bigoted, unbalanced blogger says something? Are we going to jump to it every time he comes out with some crap?

 

We should be above that and should not pander to internet bigots and give them credibility that they don't deserve.

 

Very disappointed that there was a statement issued.
