A third stint at Ibrox must put him into a very exclusive club and I don't blame him for returning. I wish him every success for his next two years in a blue jersey - if this rumour is true. Viewed from a management perspective though, this type of signing is not to be applauded. Will we see moves in a year or two for Steve Davies, Steven Whittaker, Bougherra, Naismith, Charlie Adam and other assorted former players - and this is no criticism of any of them? I wouldn't rule it out. It's lazy, lacks foresight and will hardly excite the support. However, Miller remains a good player and will provide much needed mobility and effervescence up front. I seem to remember that young Kenny was the subject of considerable attention by the Hibees gay supporters club. FC Twente brought on a 16 year old today to give him game time. Rangers brought on Cribari last week to give him game time. Depressing. I agree with your first point, we will never develop our young talent whilst we employ 34yr olds, no matter their pedigree. This may spell the end of the line for Little as well. And how much playing time will Clark get ahead of Daly and Miller? On the latter I think Cribari (and Hutton) just got some minutes last week as a farewell to Ibrox.
