“I think it’s important that we invest in that through season tickets as a way to reward Alistair because the quicker we can do that, the quicker he can get among it and get better players.

“Investment in to the club is always vitally important and investing in the team and in players works hand in hand.

“The quicker it comes for Alistair the bigger the scope he has to go out and get the better players so hopefully that will all come through and we’ll have another season to celebrate.”

Thus far the ST marketing drive has certainly been low-key this year.

Is Hateley employed by the club?

He was certainly employed/retained by the club a year or so ago,......... I don't know if that is still the case.

He's obviously been asked to do the interview so as to push ST's.

Perhaps this is the start of a wider sales-drive.

Stupid from Hateley, completely ignoring our huge financial loss, he simply wants to sign better players, better players cost more money and we already have a huge and very expensive squad. These guys connected to the club from their time under Murray, guys like Smith, Hateley, McCoist only know one way and that is buying your way out of trouble, sign sign sign, spend spend spend. They need a reality check. How about Ally works harder and better with the huge resources he already has?

Is Hateley employed by the club?

It's been rumoured for a while that he was being lined up to head up the board or committee for this new membership scheme, but it's unclear whether there's any truth in that or not.
