Koeman would be a good candidate for Man Utd if he keeps this up. He hasn't had the greatest managerial career so far but he seems to have a decent handle on the English game.

Fair shout. However, I get the impression that it is the Club that make the manager at Southampton, just as it was with Swansea. Both of those clubs have an enviable infrastructure. Martinez and Rodgers both excelled at Swansea... but are now struggling at bigger clubs. Same with Southampton - Pochetino and Koeman have looked good there too - Pochetino looks like he has steadied the ship at White Hart Lane after an initial bumpy ride.

But I think a lot of managers could enhance their reputation by being at Swansea or Southampton.

Yet you only saw the final 15 minutes.

If Manchester United are a goal behind then those last 15 minutes painted a dark picture for 'The Reds'.

The minimum you'd have expected was urgency, waves of attacking and some chances being created, there was none of that.

There is something wrong when the likes of Rooney, Van Persie, Mata and De Maria are all part of a team devoid of creativity, fluency, and attacking threat.

Their team looks like something that might have worked on pes on the ps2. No balance.
