The rumour is that Brighton are in for Wallace and are close to matching our valuation.

Stevie Smith is more than good enough at LB for this league, but selling Wallace would cause a right old stooshie!

We are lacking in creativity as it is. Selling our LB who actually creates stuff for us is just crazy. Shows how desperate we are mind ................

Especially if we end up signing Lappin. Surely we have better youngsters than a 30+ journeyman.

if they haven't already walked away to use Ally's phrase. Ironic given he appears to be the reason they are walking away ...........

I think elfideldo has said that there is not one player in the Youths who can kick with their left foot. Our best young full-back a right back has been playing at left back all last season and is threatening to leave.

Moved these Wallace posts into a new thread to get this discussion away from the off-topic arguments in the transfer rumours thread.

This probably deserves it's own thread anyway.

Wallace has already refused to go south.

Why would he change his mind ?

I think it would be seen as a sale of assets and attendance at our games would fall in protest if the board managed to coerce him this time round

Maybe it's just as bad playing as it is to watch.
