Our bus was full for Hibs before we even kicked off against Hearts. Now we have no one going.

Is that because they've all decided to try to starve the board out or is it due to various reasons?

Because we can't get across midweek without taking two days off work. That said, most of my club have not renewed and will go game by game. On Saturday past our bus only had 21 when it's normally between 40-50. The Alliance only had one bus when they take between 5-10 buses to home games.

Are you on the RST board, Hildy?

I would think that your enthusiasm plus the raft of ideas you have are merits which would be greatly appreciated by them.

No, I'm not.

I have confidence that the organisation is in tune with my thoughts. If it deviates a little from time to time, though, I can live with that.

As long as it believes in fan ownership, it'll do for me. If it didn't, I'd have nowhere to go.

That raises an interesting point that the SPFL moving games to Friday and Monday nights etc to accommodate broadcasters like BT Sport and others will also have a fairly big impact on ticket sales because it's not just you guys in NI who it affects, it's a large number of RSCs, buses & traveling fans from across the UK who travel quite long distances.

That's as sure a sign as any that there's some major problems which need fixed quickly.

Since we don't know the terms of the tv contract, it makes it hard for the club to make an argument that the SPFL in their acquiescence to the tv companies are destroying fan participation to our detriment financially.
