It may have been better to have considered that prior to posting what you did. If it isn't a site which is much sought after, it won't make enough money to cover the costs of finding another ground to play in.

I've heard rumours that Ibrox has a 'maintenance' problem that could cost millions to put right. We don't have the millions and if we don't get a safety certificate at some point, we will either have to find the money somehow, or play elsewhere, possibly Hampden.

Owning Ibrox and Milngavie may well be too much for Rangers now. We don't want to lose either but paying for both and trying to fund a top-class team may require more money than we've got - even with good guys in charge.

Disagree with that completely. It's been affordable since we moved in and since we built the training ground, they are affordable, what isn't is the lavish salaries we throw at mediocrity. £35m wage bills in SPL, £10m wage bills in the lower leagues, who are we trying to kid? There is really no need, we ain't up against a Man City or Real Madrid, we play Hibs, Aberdeen, Hearts, Celtic. Throwing away merchandising deals which used to rake us in £3m per annum, our rivals make a minimum of £4m every year from merchandise, a club we claim is smaller than ours.

Living within our means with a well run training facility and stadium is absolutely achievable, 100%, whilst being successful as well.

Rumours? What sort of maintenance problem are you talking about? Surely not that asbestos nonsense again

This is getting silly. Every big club needs a training ground and stadium. We must not at any price give up one or the other. We need both. They just need manned better. It's really that simple.

No-one wants to lose either. If it happened it would be a sad day, but when we have people trying to justify the excessive outlay for our management team, who have no problem with us signing players in their thirties, who ignore the large salaries and bonus culture that exists amongst top earners - and that's before we look at what the kitman and his assistant earn - we may have to lose something we really don't want to lose.

Yes but is MP cost effective? Again I ask how much does it cost to run annually?

So you would jettison the youth development department altogether?

In a word YES I would until it is affordable again. Too few of the first team squad come thro the youth ranks to justify throwing vast amounts of money at it. It's been that way for decades now and isn't likely to change anytime soon

Closing down Murray Park would be sheer lunacy.

The myth that Murray Park is just an academy for the youth is one that always seems to rear its head.

Murray Park is for the first team as well as the reserves and youths.
