Forty minutes gone and City getting a lesson in how to play. City 1 - Roma 1. City's goal a penalty after four minutes, Roma a nicely crafted goal by Totti. Roma could have had more but City should have had a second penalty.

Happy to see the plaything of billionaires come unstuck. Fingers crossed that Chelsea and Abramovic, among others, suffer a similar fate in the coming years. They are all killing football.

Chelsea are a big club. They were top 4 in the first place before bought over.

Unlike City Chelsea have a side that actually challenges for the champions league. Chelsea also balance their books now and have made decent profits on Luiz, Lukaku, Mata etc recently. Before Abramovich bought the club there was already Zola, Terry, Lampard, Petit, Gallas, Desailly, Lampard, Hasselbaink etc. They weren't a shitty little team made big purely from a billionaire like City were.

City are a disgrace.

Chelsea weren't even a big team in London. Prior to the Russian's arrival they had some good players and relative success just as they have done from the 50s onwards. No more than that.

I do like your argument that Chelsea aren't the worst when it comes to real-life Football Manager. :D

Chelsea won the league not long after the post-war resumption and then were never heard of again until their mid-sixties popularity with showbiz folk. Still didn't do much until more recent times. Magpies certainly and arguably Wolves and Preston North End were more prestigious than Chelsea.
